Which is where Barnett and Kurt will meet in the backfield with Tom Brady between them and he coughs up the football which JRM recovers in the end zone. Then after the first play of the game it gets really bad for Brady.

O-line development: many are beginning to notice that all of them are shedding bad fat related weight and adding quickness. That's the hallmark of a Butch Jones O-line. They have to because of the quicker pace and scheme he runs. Strong and quick footed, but not overly heavy with excess baggage. Much more mobile than what we have seen from the second half of Fulmer's reign up to Butch's arrival. The tough part with the OT's is that his scheme puts them out on an island - they don't get much in the way of double team help when he has opened the playbook on offense. That's why Blair wasn't ready, Thomas stunk at it, etc. last season. Even Kerby had to take the next step to be able to handle the demands on the left side, which he has done. Sounds like Kendrick, who we already knew was strong and capable, has taken it up big time. Now it is all about building depth behind those two. Butch's comments about the progress of the O-line are huge. Control of the LOS on both sides of the ball = many W's. :hi: to the O-line and their willingness to do all it takes. That's what VFL's do.
