The fact they made it to the sec champ twice with defense would lead them to keep that path IMO.

Those other success you mentioned while valid was in the big 10

As a Bucs fan, I can tell you that he single handedly set back the team 2-3 and is a complete ass

They seem to be doing everything they can not to hire last year's DC, now at Missouri St, or this years.

Why are people high on Pruitt as DC? He's proven nothing at all. That FSU defense he had was top 5 the year before he got there. He's been terrible at UGA. We dropped 567 yards on them.

The initial reaction here was not positive. I think people try to spin it as a positive if they think it could happen. Personally, I'd rather keep Jancek. Don't care if it costs us Mecole.

This is where I am at. I like Jancek. Screw Pruitt. Mecole makes his own decision one way or the other. If he doesn't come here, so be it.

I wonder what Hart's opinion of Smart is as HC material? He worked with him at Bama and could have probably hired him here when he did Butch and he didn't even interview him. I remember at the time of Dooley's firing the Alabama boards thought Smart would be coming here for sure.

He was on Harts list but Hart preferred winning HC experience over coordinators and knew Smart would not turn down UGA if they ever came calling.

Bama lost their DC. (Possibly OC next)

USCe is in a holding pattern still to this day even though they entered coaching search months ago.

Nobody wants to touch the Missouri job with a 10 foot pole.

All this is going on while we have one of the country's best recruiters as a head coach. And after years are floundering we are now the most stable program in the SEC East.
