Hey guys, I was scouring the web, and found this live feed of the USCe AD dept. Check it out.

bama has lost more than a few assistants/coordinators since Saban took over, have they not? I doubt losing one more will affect them.

wtf, USCe just called me asking if I know how to get a hold of some folks on Volnation but they didn't even offer me the job! This is an outrage!

Not that I would take it, but STILL, it would be nice if they ASKED!

I told them none of you were available. They hung up.

I was going to go there to sabotage and destroy their program... Oh wait

Not football but thought you guys would find this funny...

@PatMurrayWBIR: Warlick didn't say anything to team at half or during second half. Assistants took over. She says 2nd half was night and day difference.

@PatMurrayWBIR: Warlick says the 2nd half was first time this year she saw them play with chemistry and the way #LadyVols are supposed to play.

Lol, don't know that I would have told that.

Maybe she is on to something.

I heard the VolNetwork daily update this morning, and it was about the Lady Vols. They played a quote from Warlick, and she said something to the effect that the Lady Vols can't just out talent anyone- that they have good players but must play the game correctly. It was a very interesting comment to me.

I've watched all of the games. It is bizarre how they regressed on offense. Holly has them in a double post with a triangle passing game on the outside and very little dribble drive or flashing into the lane or the baseline. The roster is 100% built for the transition game. A bunch of racehorses with talent that are terrible in a plodding style. The slow down causes them to shoot terribly and they have no muscle on the inside other than Graves. Finally in the second half they pressed full court and ran transition. Result - blew the doors off ETSU and started making 3's from everywhere.

It's all on Holly.

Back to something I really like - Vol football.

You don't think UF would bring revenue to the city? You're selling UF brand short if you think otherwise. This isn't some crap bowl game in Jax.

As for UM game...If Orlando feels UF won't sell seats for a bowl game its no way they commit to the reported 4 year host deal bc of possible lost revenue.

Actually, we ran into this problem with the Music City Bowl. While we fill seats and spend money when we go, we don't bring in as much money because most of our fans can drive home or if they stay, their stay in Nashville is shorter than other fanbases. Bowls are about bringing money into a town - they are chamber of commerce/tourism type deals and out of state teams tend to have fans that stay longer and spend more because they're staying longer and because they take in the touristy stuff that you don't do closer to home.

In this situation, it's not about UF's brand or even the size of its fanbase as those things would equal out but about drawing in tourists who stay longer, take in the attractions of the area and spend money while on their mini-vacation.
