I have one other item to add to the Peyton Manning / Jamie Naughright saga. I am absolutely flabbergasted at the absolute hatred spewed at Peyton on social media by the general public. I have been reading some responses to Clay Travis' tweets regarding the topic and it amazes me how easily they dismiss what he presents because it does not fit their agenda. I don't get why their is such hatred towards the man. Even if he took HGH and even if he did touch her with his genitals 20 years ago (which I highly, highly, highly doubt), the reaction by social media is so far over the top that it is mind-boggling to me.

Didn't expect to wake up to the Johnson news...he's a key player IMO, because we don't have a ton of DT depth. Oh well, onward and upward.

Everyone is wanting to put blame on Butch or someone else, as to why these things are happening, but these are individuals making terrible choices. Butch can't hold everyone's hand at all times. Look at all of the young men who are thriving in this culture and making great choices, as well as the academic side being in the best position it has been in a very long time. Yes, all of this stuff looks terrible on the program, because it's the same type of problem...some kind of sexual or physical assault, which is horrible.

People need to settle down a bit. Things are never as good or as bad as they seem. In a few weeks the weather will start to warm up, spring practice will begin with the O&W game looming. Most of this will be in the rearview mirror. The lawsuit will get mired in legalese and procedure and the media will get bored with it and move on to something else. Keep our heads up Volnation, this too shall pass.

I also have a feeling that charges will be dropped against Alexis. Just a hunch. Seems like play fighting gone too far, way too far at that, and an attempt to say sorry with sexual advances. As they have had those encounters before, it's not as troubling as it would be if she was a one night stand. Still think he'll be kicked off the team though.

In short, what is your guys' problem with Hart? Genuine question. Is it just a culmination of things or something to do with the sexual assault stuff? I admittedly haven't followed all of what he's done.
