As far as I'm concerned, QB is talented and deep but also an unknown next year. I'm excited to see how it plays out.

I've seen enough of QD in mop up time this year and last to know he has a heck of an arm. Much better passer down field than Dobbs. He doesn't need to run as much as Dobbs either, a couple time a game to keep the opposing D honest. JG still looks a bit skinny to me, another off season or 2 would do him some good.

JG didn't come here to sit. QD is a good passer but I think it comes down to what kind of offense we run next year and who Butch gets to run it.... he better get someone...

Haven't been on Volnation much lately, have I missed something about Debord leaving? Or are fans just hoping?

He's as slow as he looks. Lol Teams will tee off on the RBs with him at QB.

If Butch brought him in and thought highly of him then fine. I hope he's not the starter at Tennessee personally. Just can't run this system effectively with a statue at QB.

Kinda funny people say JG has his own accuracy issues and everybody said preseason that he wowed passing the ball. Has got the best arm on the team and wowed during the PASSING drills.

The reason defenses stack the box now is because Dobbs is no threat passing... We don't know what defenses will do if or passing attack is equal to our running attack

I agree. We've seen how horrible this offense is when Dobbs won't run the ball and teams don't have to wonder who has the ball. If butch insists on this offense, no way someone as slow as Dormady (who isn't Bray/Manning slow, but still not fast enough to scare an LB/DE) can be successful here. If Butch changes the offense to fit Dormady, he could do well I think. Good arm, accurate, doesn't freak out. Not amazing, but adequate.

Having trouble with that too. I think it's wishful thinking, and a lot of folks around here are going to be disappointed.

Kyle Phillips is essentially a full-time DT now. So we have Vickers, Phillips, Picou, and Bain (who apparently has a minor ankle injury, hopefully he's back soon) as full-fledged DTs with Mixon and Kongbo capable of working the middle as well.

Going to have to disagree here.

Phillips- 260lb backup DE
Picou- Package deal, not sure he would have been recruited if not for Austin Smith
Bain- Walkon

It is pretty freakin bad. We really couldn't afford to lose one of O'Brien, Tuttle, McKenzie, and Vickers and we lost three. I will be very impressed with the coaches and the players themselves for stepping up if they are even serviceable.

Agree--- JG is the first true Dual-Threat we have had in a long time.. kid has a better arm that Dobbs and is just as fast... Heck, Sheriron is a better fit for this current offense than Dormady...
