Can't risk Kamara or Sutton in the return game and CBJ probably wants an experienced guy who's usually pretty steady.
Anyone catch Jimmy and Faud last night?
They were being pretty negative.
They cared way more about what happened after it was was 49-22 than I do.
Jimmy VERY critical of Shoop. Faud a little more forgiving, but still critical.
Earlier in the year both guys fully agreed DeBord should go. They've relaxed on this a bit (and by that I mean instead of full blown hating him they are just frustrated with his game to game inconsistency)
Faud made the case that he would rather have a consistent average OC than an inconsistent good/bad one.
Shoop has done a terrible job. Lots of experienced players playing in that secondary that can't play dead in a western.
I hope Cam is back there next week. Smith is atrocious, and costs us 10-20 yards of field position almost every time he's back there. He's scared to run up and catch the ball in the air before it bounces.

You are one of the top 5 worst posters on this board. Or bottom 5, however you want to put it
There's no way Smith is the best option. He's muffed punts in two games now, and like you said he never runs up to catch short punts. On the off chance he does actually field a punt, he's the opposite of dynamic. We'd be better off rushing eleven if that's who the coaches are dead set on putting in.
I'd like to see how a healthy UT team would fare against this Bama team. In our current state we are no match for them at all.
If we make it to the title game this will be the first time we'll ever have matched up with Bama, right?
Wow, did some digging on this-- first quarter of the game... we were getting gashed and they marched down and scored in three plays.... defense looked unprepared again...many folks echoing the same feeling at that point. Idiot post to pull this the day after randomly... whatever.
No question UT is being undervalued in the rankings. When aTm lost their second game, they dropped a few spots-- UT dropped nine. When UT lost game three, we dropped 13 spots to #31.
The narrative on UT and CBJ is negative, so we may not be ranked unless we win the SECE. Every single SEC team but Bama and UF has at least three losses-- and UF likely will have three losses after next week and perhaps four losses after FSU. That's what happens in a conference like the SEC where good teams cannibalize each other while lesser conferences get inflated rankings playing nobodies.
