If you are in the top 10 undefeated and then lose you should drop out of the top 10.


And looking at schools with 3 losses in the polls yet we aren't one of them is crazy.

Our losses are just as good as FSUs. And our Wins are more impressive.

This is dumb. No respect.

Who should have fallen out of top 10 that didn't? A one loss team shouldn't necessarily drop behind two loss teams just because their one loss is more recent.

Btw, just going to bump this and pat myself on the back...lol! I knew AU would stay ranked pretty highly, even after not showing up yesterday. Made a gigantic drop from 9 to 16...7 whole spots. It's hilarious.

Yes, crazy.... everyone has forgotten about our early success and it is definitely a flavor of the week attitude... No respect for us in the polls. I don't think we get ranked until Vandy... they will have to rank us if we get to the SEC Champ game so AL can say they beat a ranked team...

Because they are freshmen and Butch is not going to put the outcome of this season in their hands. He doesn't have the stones to play his best freshmen with so much on the line.

Ole Miss and South Carolina played their freshmen QB's out of desperation to save their season. We have to win these last two games and the safe bet is that these freshmen will only see the field "out of desperation".

Yep. Mizzou win won't move the needle. We may sneak in at #25 or something. Then beating Vandy won't move us out of the 25-20 range.

If we make it to ATL, we'll drop to unranked AGAIN after getting pummeled by Bama. So we'll be unranked in the Citrus Bowl and will likely finish the season ranked about where we were to finish 2015.

I have no problems with top 10. It's all the 3 loss teams who are ranked ahead of us that is maddening. The only 3 loss team that deserves to be ahead of us is LSU. I am fine with where they are. Our resume against the other 3 loss teams is as good, if not better.

Sounds spot on to me. Meanwhile 7-3 FSU is top 20 already while beating absolutely no one. Lol I guess they have 3 "quality losses"

Makes me think that we would be ranked right now if we had lost to UGA or FL and then beat scar.

Given a bowl win at the end of the season, the South Carolina game will cost us about 15 spots in the polls at the end of the season.

11-3 and we're probably #8 or so. 10-4 and we're #23ish.

Any recruits/visitors worth noting yesterday? Akers has to still be interested somewhat after seeing our run game and his potential role in it.... Haven't seen a lot of talk lately on where we stand with kids. Seems a little too quiet at this point in the season. I guess kids have cooled on us for some reason. I remember before the SC game, supposedly there were 5 higher level kids that were indicating interest and the staff was going to need to make room... then crickets.

Brice reported something awhile back about Mahoney not getting an extension last year when everyone else did and said something to the effect that the writing on the wall there was more like graffiti. Also said what I took to be a hint at Debord retiring.

If I'm not mistaken, LWS seemed to hint at Martinez being gone.

Upgrades needed at both spots IMO.

Never said a word about Cam being trash, don't make BS up to try and make a point. I said Sutton got burned a couple of times, which he DID and that was due to him definitely being rusty. Yes, I did say it seems every game one of our O linemen is on the ground before the half and being helped off, which is a true statement. Don't come at me with crap...

Honestly it is hard to differentiate IMO, but I don't think we should be as far back as we currently are.
