Yes I also think Berry is better than McDowell. McDowell was awful agaisnt Georgia and A&M. Jumper has played outside before

He has had his struggles. That Nuata TD sticks in my mind he looked so lost and slow trying to catch up to him I was shocked. Makes you wonder if Jumper is actually faster than Cortez.

Kelly has shown flashes, and we we will add Chandler. The WR's stay the same.

The OL can certainly improve if healthy. Tatum and Richmond won't get worse.

The DL will basically be the same up the middle, and we will need Phillips and Kongbo to improve as ends. The LB's will be fine, and we have no idea about Sapp because he hasn't played there yet.

We do need the CB's to improve.

But, it's not any different than any other year. Players leave and new ones emerge. That's college athletics. Alabama will lose at least 5 of their front 7 and Eddie Jackson. Their 5 star depth will fill in, but I have never heard of their backups. They will emerge just like our guys will.

I understand that but I'm not seeing the star power. Kelly I think will be very good. I think JG will be at least as good as Dobbs. Most programs don't rely on trues freshmen. I 'm not saying we going to hell in a hand basket, I just don;t see us making up any ground against Alabama. Unfortunately, any goals beyond an SEC east championship runs through them and we unlike any other SEC east team, we have to play them twice to win the SEC and have a chance at the playoff.

Go look at the roster, many of the juniors and sophomores that we had high hopes for are basically non-factors. The juniors especially should be contributing especially at LB and they are not.

DT will not be the same. We are down 2 starters

DT issues really won't show up against Carolina. They are one of the worst offensive teams you will ever lay eyes on in cfb. In every single aspect.

The only two LB's that aren't contributing are Bryant and Bates. Elliott Berry should be better. But, we will have Kirkland, McDowell, Jumper, Sapp, Bituli, and who knows about Blakely.

We just signed a good class in 2016. Byrd, B. Johnson, Warrior, Buchanan, Bituli, Osborne should all improve.

I had to pause the game at half time, looked at the score @ 7, went home and immediately deleted it.

Honestly, I'd just delete it from your DVR. There was nothing even remotely worth watching in the 2nd half. It was a beatdown, and our offense did nothing whatsoever and was as vanilla as could be.

But how can I advocate for the firing of coaches or the continuation of narratives if I do not have an informed opinion?

Speaking of Peyton if the NCAA allows us to add a 10th Ast Coach would he be the first call Butch should make to be a QB coach?

You need to lay off the panic button. Saturday was an embarrassment to be sure but the injuries are what they are. They explain the size of the loss. Period. If we had a bye week and no injuries that is a much much different game. Period. I've heard now multiple analysts express the same view. It was a perfect storm for us. In fact, Barret Sallee (I believe) on Twitter and some others predicted it before the game for those reasons (injuries, emotional exhaustion).

Bama leaves that that game with a high risk of being overrated. They are good, no doubt. But they aren't 49-10 good. I won't be surprised if they don't win a title this year. Hurts can't throw. He should have torched our secondary with their receiver talent and our injuries but he looked pedestrian to say the least as a passer.

I am not saying he played great just better than the rest. 9 tackles and 3 for a loss is pretty good

Yeah, I agree that he made a few nice tackles in the backfield, but he also had a lot to do with a handful of huge runs. It's hard to say anyone played better than the rest other than Barnett considering our defense played about as poorly as it has under this coaching staff.

So you think the expectations for next year should be as high as they were this year?
