Mississippi State? Of course, A&M beat us head to head but still think their loss may be worse. They also lost to a 5 loss OM team.

Not a big deal. If we keep winning, we will be in the Top 15.
We're ahead of A&M in the college football playoff rankings. In that only Fla St, Auburn, LSU, and USC are the only 3-loss teams ahead of us

LB commit Mo Burnam does not impress me. Just watched his film. And believe me folks, I'm a pro at evaluating talent.

I already said why, you just chose to ignore it. The season itself is a meatgrinder that changes the complexion of each team...some teams progress from early dysfunction, and others regress as they go along for many reasons. Michigan shows that they have regressed big time very kate in the season by losing to a crap Iowa team. That is why.

1 game doesn't equal a trend though. What's more likely for a team that has played well all season: a loss being an exception, or that loss proving that they are trending downwards? If Michigan had spent the whole season skating by inferior opponents I would understand dropping them more.

Anybody watched the Michigan vs Iowa game?

Michigan has to be the most overhyped team I've seen of late.

Oh and that QB is garbage as well. People need to stop pumping them up. They are all Defense and frankly they aren't as good to me either as they are hyped in that area. I've not been remotely impressed by the fighting Harbaughs. Healthy and without Hurd we'd blow them out. And yes we would run on them. If Iowa shifty back gave them problems we would gash them for sure.

I haven't watched them but have noticed that they crush scrubs and have close games wth decent opponents. Michigan St isn't good this year and almost beat them. Big rivalry game so I chalk that up as part of the series and MSU playing that game like their championship. Colorado game should have been the first warning sign that maybe they are feeding on bad schedules Colorado went toe to toe and almost had them. Wisconsin went toe to toe. Now Iowa beats them.

This leads me to say Ohio ST beats them.

I may have to take back my Houston beats Louisville prediction. I didn't realize Ward was hurt and will tough it out. The backup that was good last year broke his arm last week. If ward can make it the whole game Houston can win. If he gets knocked out early it's going to be ugly. Very likely he doesn't make it with it being a shoulder and his style of play

@CFBFilmRoom: Tennessee's rushing attack definitely has a different look without Jalen Hurd.. missing his power running style https://t.co/0p5rznWlVH

What a terribly misleading tweet. Hurd missing the running lanes led to this... Of course he is going to have to fight for more yards.
I usually appreciate some of the stats they put out but this is incredibly dumb.

IMO, UT is better than Auburn and SC-- both are overranked. LSU is about as inconsistent as we are, and we might get a chance to play FSU in the Citrus Bowl. If we can keep our remaining players healthy, see steady improvement from our freshmen and win our way into the SECCG, we still could finish in the Top 12-15.

Strongly disagree with our injuries. Maybe healthy we are though

Dennis Dodd says Les Miles is a candidate at Baylor. Also read on various sites that LSU has contacted Fedora.

I wonder if former Vol DC Justin Wilcox will be a candidate at Oregon. He played there and is doing a hell of a job at Wisconsin.

Fedora at LSU sounds like a good fit. He has ties to that area from being at Southern Miss.

Miles to Baylor would keep them relevant for the next few years provided he gets or keeps a sharp offensive mind.

Wilcox is a solid coordinator. I don't know how he'd be as a head coach though, especially his first head gig being at Oregon. Just my 2 cents.

No way Wilcox gets that job

You mean top 10 Wisconsin and Colorado? Wisconsin is the best two loss team in the country. They also beat top 10 Penn State easily.
