Titans get a shot at some real talent today. Difference makers available and Robinson is loaded up with 3 picks in the first half of the second round. This year and next put them back on the road to playoff contenders for years to come subject to coaching competency.

I've found another kindred spirit.

I've also been pounding the Hurd will be drafted much higher than Henry bandwagon. He's a lot more fluid, has better quickness and initial explosion through the hope. He's more agile and can actually catch.

Henry was a product of the Alabama system similar to Trent Richardson. Good kid but not an elite RB.

You guys should tap the brakes on knocking Henry. Dude is a beast and will do well in the league IMO.

Henry is potentially going to be Trent Richardson 2.0 in the league, or best case scenario Brandon Jacobs. Benefitted from playing behind a bonkers OL and never got touched until he had a head full of steam. A very one dimensional running back who is just big. Won't translate to the NFL like it did at Alabama.

If article is accurate an Hurd really does want the crystal and bronze trophies, then yeah, I could see Hurd returning. After all a precedence has been set for returning seniors.

This statement is contingent on whether the above happens this year of course.

Loved how the Titans steered clear of the drama and still got a quality road grader for RT. Tunsil - smh. Going to be fascinating to watch Freeze & company's damage control.

Jack Conklin was a good pickup. He will probably have a longer more productive career than Tunsil.

Such talent much 1st round talent left on the board.

Feel really bad for Myles Jack. Hopefully the Ravens have a chance to get him.

I'm still laughing at Tunsil situation. WTF was his agent thru all this. His job is to shield his client from those questions. Smh

His agent is Jimmy Sexton- one of the best in the business. I am guessing the press conference is mandatory by the league, and it's hard to overcome stupidity.

Rofl, yep. Unless an rb is an AP type back, he's not worth a top 10 pick.

Elliott is an APB. He can catch, and they say he is not afraid to block. Bosa had been taken, so it was either Elliott or Ramsey, and Ramsey had some concerns, too. Great measurables but only 3 INT his whole career. Cowboys didn't want to reach and don't need OL.

The Cowboys aren't 1 rb away from a super bowl. Trade. Down.

I'm on board with this

Still can't fathom how Trent Richardson is not a top 5 RB

Trade down, they had an offer

I know the thing to do is disagree with D4H, but most are expecting a trip to Atlanta this year. A win there all but guarantees a playoff spot.

I think "expecting" is a little strong. I expect them to compete for one and to be competitive in every game. I expect GA, SCAR, FL, Bama, and TAMU to play well against us. There is a lot of talent in the league. Enough that a bounce here or there can make a big difference. Let's win a couple of division championships before we start "expecting" them.

He can't cut laterally period. Also our defenders routinely dropped Henry one on one last year. He can't create plays at all.

Cowboys fan here. Would have liked to see them take Ramsey and then if RB really coveted maybe a Derrick Henry in second. I understand the pick even if I wouldn't have done it as you can see it as a way to help the defense by going back to what worked in 2014 with Murray. Don't like spending that much on a RB which has such a short shelf life though.

D4H, you need to listen to TJ Moe, former WR for Mizzou, on the Swain Event. Go get the podcast for today and skip to about 2:30 and listen to him discuss Dobbs. He observed that Dobbs last year was hesitating on his reads and that is something he has to improve on. He gave some examples. Professional assessment... he watches a lot of film. :)

He was on arky radio too. He's a solid analyst. Said Dobbs has a lot to improve on (but is the best returning qb in the east), but says our defense should carry us to Atlanta and the race shouldn't even be close.
