Having a lot of draft picks means you have a lot of question marks. Let's enjoy a year we have 18 returning starters and worry about the draft next year - the first draft that will have Butch's recruits.

Charles Davis just got teased for more German players being drafted than Tennessee. Daaaaamn

Maybe it's just me, but I seriously don't care. We know we weren't brimming with upperclassmen talent. And all the players who could have been draftable decided to stay and try to win a championship. That says a lot.

Mike Strange posted an article talking about the possibility of dropping the capactity of Neyland a bit with the new renovations to include more premium seats etc. personally, I don't see a problem with dropping the capacity as long as we stay over 100k.

Thoughts?

Ticket prices will go up greatly.

I think it has to stay over 100k. All I want is cell phone service.

Gotta agree. Makes Butch's situation coming in a little more clear huh? BowlingGreen and Oregon kept insisting we had decent talent that Butch wasted. The OL? Yeah...but skill and speed positions were woeful. Our draftable players had the injury stigma on them for the most part. Maggitt is a huge risk. Surprised that some defensive linemen got picked ahead of Owen...he's better than that Georgia Tech (former rugby player) DL Denver traded up to get in the second round. This draft and the Mackenzie Alexander slide justifies Sutton coming back...good business decision.

More seats = more opportunities for more fans to see the Vols play.

More premium seats = higher prices and more revenue.

I like it old school-- crowded and loud, with as many seats as possible.

Kid is probably the best athlete of all the QB drafted. 6'4 243 with 4.5 speed. Huge arm. Drafted in baseball and football. The physical tools are there. His football IQ is really lacking but he's perfect for Chip Kelly's system.

If only he didn't suck at football.

Agreed as long as over 100k then only about 2500 less.

I'll give him a pass for what he went through at UF. Kid made a bad choice sticking with his commitment. Once Meyer left, he should have signed Aub or Miss State. I believe his career would have turned out different.. Finished strong at La Tech.
