Terrible in the sense that it's not a title winning foundation class. We'll have some good players in there much like our 2013 class. But classes like 2016 don't build the foundation for a title run.
Classes like 2014 and 2015 build championship winning foundations.
Look at the last decade of champions. Aside from Auburn, they were all consistently signing top 5-10 classes. Then how do teams like OU and Clemson make it to the playoffs with only 1 top 10 recruiting class between the two of them from 2013 to 2015?
Edit: Let me also throw Mich. State in there who barely recruits in the top 25 but somehow gets through their schedule unscathed and contends with Ohio State every year.

Our Average star ranking was higher in the 2016 class than the 2015 and 2014 class.... But ok D4H
Lol @ star ratings.
I evaluate these prospects myself. I could care less what rivals or 247 says.
According to my film review, we're looking at only 8 signees with the ability to become significant contributors from the 2016 class (significant contributor = starter).
Compare that to 10 in the 2014 class and a whopping 20 in the 2015 class.
So while not a complete disaster. 2016 is not good enough to be a championship class. It needs a class like 2015 that is significantly better alongside it.
