Here's a question....does Herman still wait for the Texas job or does he jump to Baylor even though he has a great thing going at Houston?

Does Briles affect recruiting? Meaning, more people saying to recruits that CBJ has a short shelf life since Baylor pulled the trigger on Briles?

Sounds bad, but this should take some of the heat off of us. Butch has been nothing if not vigilant with suspensions. I'd feel comfortable with any objective external investigation and Butchs actions.

Sounds like Baylor had more questionable behavior and cover ups as opposed to us where players were immediately suspended and thorough investigations began and are still ongoing in some cases. And the media sure didn't attempt a cover up either that's for sure.

Hope so. I can see it both ways though. Baylor is now out of the spotlight and the media may turn back to us. A few more allegations spill out and the heat could get turned back up.

Keep in mind that we hear more on here that the media on the national level. Is there anything out there that you know of that could amount to the same level as Baylor or Briles?

To me the answer on both is No, and again I stand by Butchs proactive behavior on all incidents that have occured.

True. The saving grace for us might be the contrasts between how CBJ and Art Briles each handled these incidents. Perhaps more media attention where that is the narrative would be a good thing.

I agree, any objective reporting would show The Tennessean to be a bunch of hacks. I'd put an open challenge and wager out to anyone to point out one player Butch did not immediately suspend when an allegation came forth.

They're reporting that Bennett the DC is going to be named interim....my kendal briles comment was getting the rumor mill flowing for our next oc for all the anti debord people out there. Young coach prolific offense I'm sure he'll land somewhere
