Do we really need to bash a kid who gave his all and never got into trouble? Sure, he didn't belong in the SEC, but I'm happy that he found a spot at Pitt and is doing well. He has always seemed like a great, hard working kid.

Some high praise for Barnett (one of the best players in college football) and Kamara (second only to Macaffrey as a pass catcher, among RBs). Interesting take that Sutton had a down year last year. And this ignores our special teams altogether.

The main reason I'm bullish on the Vols is we have so many different ways to beat opponents in all three phases of the game.

Do we really need to bash a kid who gave his all and never got into trouble? Sure, he didn't belong in the SEC, but I'm happy that he found a spot at Pitt and is doing well. He has always seemed like a great, hard working kid.

Not speaking for others, but "bashing a kid" and recognizing how nervous you got when he was simply kneeling on a play, are two different things. Most back and forths on this board were more about some posters telling others that their eyes weren't processing data and he was actually performing well...or saying he just needed MORE snaps. Very few on VN can properly analyze and/or diagram a play, but we know disaster when we see it. :hmm: He gets drafted? Bravo! You made that sound like it would be a fitting PUNISHMENT for those unprocessing data eyes guys. I'd say most of them would be happy for Nathan WHILE also knowing he wasn't going to do it in Knoxville. :hi:

Sutton did have a down year. He wasn't himself after he got dinged up.
