How much "experience" does he have? Starting wise?

He didn't start at all his freshman year. The only game I think he started in 2014 was the opener....of course he started every game he played last year. He only played in like 13 games combined his first two years.

Kiper sucks and hasn't ever played a down of football on any level(little league included). His hair and ability to sound like he knows what he's talking about keeps him around.

This. He is wrong SO often and nobody cares. He's like the weatherman, no accountability to actually be right, just as long as you sound good and look good while you're saying things. Just like skip Bayless and Stephen a Smith, talk passionately and convincingly, and you never have to actually be right.

R. Foster in 15 games

73 tackles, 8 TFL, 1 sack. 0 int. 0 FF. 0 FR.

DKjr in 13 games

66 tackles, 6.5 TFL, 3 sacks. 1 int. 0 FF. 1 FR

Better stats as a true freshman with 2 fewer games and only 9 starts than a 3rd year starting junior.

In terms of experience I am counting three years practicing/playing/college weight program/nutrition/film study on one of the best teams in the country....

All goes out the window when it's nut-cutting time. ON THE FIELD, he reverts back to former 5 star buffoon who thinks he can knock out errybody he hits...then finds out differently. Kirkland is better.

if this were one of our players at the scene we would be getting f'n destroyed by everyone in the national media.Instead, nobody even really knows ab this.

Saban has an uncanny ability to get everything swept under the rug and kept quiet. I won't be surprised that one day a huge story will hit the media on all the things he covered up while being the HC at Bama.

This is easy to understand if you've ever spent much time in Alabama. The media is nothing like Tennessee's. They do not pursue negative stories against Alabama and Auburn at all. They do not sell papers or get listeners by doing that. The typical Alabaman does not care about objectivity (like so many VNers do) fairness or righteousness in their beloved programs, they just want to win. Any reporters in Bama that tried to take down either program would lose his job, or even worse. Birmingham is a large city, but is not cosmopolitan in any shape or form like Nashville has become, but heck even the Knoxville papers have always employed guys like Adams who seem to salivate at the opportunity to tear UT apart. There is no way guys like that that keep jobs anywhere in Alabama. That is why they he away with so much crap.

This.

SIAP...

"4-star running back Ty Chandler is in town with his parents.
4-star defensive back Malik Gray is in town with his mom.
WR Tee Higgins is back on campus hanging out this evening after being on campus earlier today.

That's a solid Saturday night of potential hanging out with the Vols."

"Tennessee held another camp on Saturday which included several names to watch.

Marquis Williams and Miguel Edwards from Coconut Creek, Florida were in town.

A couple of Mississippi State commits were in Knoxville as well -- 2017 DE/LB Aaron Odom and 2018 receiver Malik Heath from Callaway, Miss. Both still seem pretty open to say the least and both are holding Tennessee offers that were extended in the last month. Both prospects said they plan to be back in the fall for another visit.

Knoxville product Zack Dobson camped on Saturday and turned a few heads. Size is a bit of a concern, but he's a player that Tennessee is expected to evaluate closely. Another player who apparently had a good day was 2018 quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. from Tampa, Fla. Penix is a left hander with a big arm. Obviously, Emory Jones is a priority who will be at the Rivals camp tomorrow (we will have an update from him there). Back to Penix, his father played college ball in Tennessee. He too will be in Atlanta tomorrow.

Jack Sears was in town and worked out with Jon Gruden working the camp. Sears isn't doing interviews and while I think he likes Tennessee, I will stick with my thought that the offer from UCLA changed his recruitment a great deal.

Class of 2019 quaterback Bo Nix was in Knoxville as well. If the name sounds familiar it should. He is the son of former Auburn quarterback Patrick Nix. Apparently, some of the Nix family are Tennessee fans and he wanted to workout with Gruden. The elder Nix is his son's coach at Scottsboro High School in Scottsboro, Ala. Not sure how much the Vols will or won't recruit Nix moving forward.

Vol commitment Marquez Bembry was in town on Saturday with his family hanging out. Bembry has just completed his track season a few weeks ago and is now focused on putting on weight. Bembry is currently around 205.

The biggest news of the day in Knoxville is who is hanging out for the night. Nashville running back Ty Chandler is in town with his parents. Also, Maleik Gray rolled into town Saturday evening with his mother. Gray's mother hasn't been in Knoxville in a while so that's certainly a good sign for the Vols.

Several current players and newcomers were hanging out with them, including another recruit that had spent part of the day in Knoxville, Tee Higgins.

Higgins camped in Nashville with the Vols last Sunday. He hung out at Tennessee's camp on Saturday and was with players Saturday night. Tuesday, Higgins will be at Clemson for camp. The Tigers are expected to have several of their commitments there including Amari Rodgers and Hunter Johnson who have been recruiting Higgins hard. Higgins is also hoping to see Florida State and Ohio State this summer. Higgins still plans to be at Orange Carpet Day next weekend.

Tennessee's staff will be at satellite camps in Georgia early this coming week as well as Murfreesboro and don't be surprised if a couple of graduate assistants are not back out in California for a camp next week. Tennessee is hoping to have a couple of California prospects in town in July.

The Vols will have a camp in Knoxville on Thursday and next Saturday is Tennessee's Orange Carpet Day."

Just an FYI for anyone waiting on Phil Steeles magazine and doesn't want to wait for it. You can get it now on the Apple Store or the Andriod store. Or order it directly from his website. I think it's a little bit cheaper if you do either
