No way. Kirkland is way faster and more athletic. Plus he has better insticts and I believe a higher ceiling.

Reuben has been a huge contributer to Alabama for 2-3 years. He's a protypical linebacker. Mel Kiper said hes a better NFL prospect than Reggie Ragland. Kirkland was a TRUE freshman, Ragland a JR. And you expect me to think a Kirkland is a better overall linebacker at this point of time? No way... Im sorry that I'm not as bias as some people on here

Huge contributor? Kirkland had more tackles and better stats in his freshman year than Foster had combined in his first two years. He was non existent in his first 2 years.

Foster had 34 tackles combined his first two years. Had 73 last year as a junior. Kirkland had 66 tackles as a true freshman. Foster is not that much better than Kirkland...so stop acting like it.

exactly. All foster did his first couple yrs was continually knock himself out of the game on special teams because he kept leading with his helmet like a moron.

Like I said Foster is a better LB than kirkland. 3-5 years Kirkland might be better who knows... My opinion is Foster is better to this day. And according to Kiper he will be a top (overall) draft pick next year

I trust my eyes and people who are more qualified than me in evaluatung talent. Kiper is good at what he does. You might not think so. I think hes really good at his job... And its not about having "hots" for anyone, its about relying on people who are experts in their respected field.

I agree with you... I like Kirkland and he will be really good if he stays healthy. What I said about Foster takes nothing away about Jirkland in anyway... Its just a matter of different opinions that's all. I hope nobody got upset about my comment

I'm not sure that's exactly true. I'm sure there are plenty of front office NFL guys who'd trade spots with Kiper. He gets all of the same benefits with much less stress and worry about being fired if he misses on a prospect.

Gruden has won a ring and has proven he can do both. Kiper has only proved to be an antagonist to Todd McShay.

I don't know about that now. I love JRM, but his size is going to hold him down in the draft. I wouldn't trade him for Foster, but the NFL will.

I do believe that most RFers have the same opinion of Kiper as I do. If not most, then a large percentage. I think he is a joke, and I dont feel much better about McShay. These guys don't prognosticate much better than we do.

Don't pretend like you are on the same level as Mel kiper or mcshay. They are paid to watch film all year. They may not always be right but they can't predict things like injuries, bad attitudes, etc.

They should be. I never said anything about me...I said we, meaning VN. There are some guys on here that do pretty good for amateurs. I don't think they are all that, and nobody is going to change my opinion after all these years.
