Only reason we would storm the field would be because we understand what the win over Florida means. Its not just that we ended the streak, but the confidence that we will have going into GA, aTm and Bama. We would then have a chance to go 12-0 or 11-1. That game is extremely important, not just for the streak, but for confidence.

I stormed the court when Bruce Pearl beat #1 ranked Florida. That was a total surprise (even though I felt on the day we were going to win) and UT men's basketball does not have a championship history. If our fans ever storm the field in Neyland, I will be highly disappointed.

The pride argument against storming the field drives me nuts. Don't act like "we're above that" as a fanbase/program. Whatever happens, happens.

Think about a recruit at the game. If they see the excitement and craziness and spectacle of thousands of people storming the field. That would leave a big impression on them and attract them I would think.

I don't think they leave, saying, how pathetic! I ain't coming here! They should have expected to win and kept their emotions in check! Show some dignity and pride!

We stormed the field at home against UF in 1998 and everyone knows what happened that season.

Win against UF in 2016, storm the field again. Rinse and repeat.

I got dem feels!

I tend to agree with this. It's just a game. If people want to storm the field because they're so overcome with emotion, go for it. Have a good time.

There are things in life worth taking very, very seriously. Football is not one of them. Our sucktitude helped me learn not to be so uptight about a game (not that I don't still struggle -- I do and I have in the past redded out with the best of them).

If this year is as good as we all hope it will be, let our fans enjoy themselves.

For those of you who say, "don't storm the field...act like you've been there" my question to you is this: do you still get upset when UT loses?

Obviously. What does that have to do with storming the field? We would be beating a solid Florida team, not winning the SEC. You can celebrate without storming the field. That would be embarrassing. It would still give them the mental mindset that they're supposed to beat us. They're not.
