On cold, lonely nights, two things keep me warm

1. The thought of Florida playing in Neyland this year, and the subsequent 3 1/2 hours.

2. The thought of Bama facing an undefeated Tennessee team in Neyland, and the unprecedented fury that the crowd will unleash for 4 quarters

Rematch of the century(for me anyway)would have then ensued....Rocky Top vs The U for all the marbles. I almost despised Chavis after that loss. We also knocked LaBrandon Toefield out of the game. The defense was like sharks in feeding frenzy. LSU could not breath. And then they let off the gas..still SMH after all these years.

QB draw, sigh. Neutralize the pursuit. One of the most tactically interesting games ever.

Kongbo has not taken a single down in Div 1 in the SEC yet.... he will be a great backup and nice change of pace for Offenses to have to adjust for... This season he will definitely be fun to watch when he gets some snaps...NEXT season he will be BEAST!

Just because he hasn't played a down doesn't mean he can't start and be great. There have been JUCO players with dominant first seasons in the SEC so it's not unheard of.

never said that, just trying to be realistic... K-mack came in and everyone was crowning him the next minister of defense and it took him most of the season to get adjusted . Kongbo definitely passes the eye test and seems to be doing very well in practice, but he has not faced SEC O lines... Hopefully by mid-season he will learn enough and be a much needed change of pace... Barnett and Vereen are not just going to step aside and lose their starting spot just because of hype... he will have to earn it.

He hasn't played much football, IIRC. I fully expect Phillips to play aged of him unless Kongbo is sliding inside on pass rush downs.

This. I'm excited to see Kongbo this year, but I fully believe people are setting themselves up for some failure with him this season with some of this hype. Dude hasn't played much football at all.

I think I read in one of the practice summaries that they have talked about kongbo and barnett moving inside in passing situations.
