Vincent Perry is a kid that would've helped this year. Don't know how he became ineligible with as much help Student Athletes receive.

All that help/structure AND he was a very solid student coming out of HS. Pretty sure he was a high act/gpa kid

Coaching matters, and the change was obvious late last season when Butch got involved with the WRs, but VN seems to routinely forget that most players need a couple of years to become effective. The team was talented, but it really was young. This is the first season under Butch that we've had talent, depth, and maturity, and it will show on the field.

Flipping through and caught on the sports Source where they're comparing the 98 team versus this team.


They brought up that all 4 of our backs from the 98 became a starting tailback in the NFL at some point.
That's an impressive stat.

My brother in law (a reasonable Bama fan who still fears playing Tennessee every year because he has a long memory) said he was excited when Bama finally got to the level under Saban where they were churning out tailbacks "like Tennessee in the 90s." It's been so long that caught me off guard but it's true. We were loaded and it was always next man up. He counts Travis Henry and Peyton Manning as his most hated opposing team players of all time (from any team).

That's good coverage by Martin. I'd like to see his head turned for the ball, but you can't blanket better than that. What's good is that's a great play by the receiver and the placement by the QB is perfect.

As for Reggie, welcome back sir.
