Plus there was a freshman fumble in the red zone in the Arkansas game if I remember. Talk about a growth opportunity. One can blame it on the coaching. They have broad shoulders. Sets up for things to look quite different this year. A few breaks like Maggit staying healthy, a made field goal in the Swamp, a score instead of a fumble against the Hogs and things look different. Find them 25 pts!

Preston Williams fumbled inside the 10, and Medley missed a chip shot.

That's my point. He's definitely the first Vol taken in the draft.

I think he will be too but if we have some leave early like Kamara and/or Hurd plus we already have Sutton & Dobbs that will be entering the draft you just never know.

It just might depend on who has the best season overall in 2016 that helps their draft status. Could end up being Dobbs going before anybody from our team. Wouldn't that absolutely surprise a ton of folks? It wouldn't me. He's capable of being a top notch QB & an NFL starter.

He just has to prove it & be more consistent. He does that & Dobbs could very well end up being drafted before Barnett in the 2017 draft. I don't think it will happen but it certainly could happen.

He would be our #1 CB easily

IMO if anyone is drafted before Barnett, it will be another defensive player. Don't really think Dobbs is first round material, and RB's aren't going too high recently excluding the Titans.

Are you forgetting about Ezekiel Elliott for the Cowboys going at #4 just a couple of months ago?

Yes..he would. He is very good. Martin may end up better, we just don't KNOW yet, and he isn't better than a healthy Cam, so he wouldn't take his spot.

Nope
That mouth would have him benched at Tennessee. We are Volunteers not gator trash.
He would anger all the other CBs and they would elevate their game above his.

:hi:

Haven't heard of anyone having this issue. Are you checking the box to stay signed in?

I am. It still acts like I'm new every time, even if I don't close out the tab. Even just since I made that comment earlier it had signed me out. I'm on mobile by the way. Using Safari as my bowser.

Could be something I'm doing on my end, but I haven't noticed any issues on any other sites but here.

Safari on iPhone? That's what I'm using and haven't had any problems. You're allowing cookies, right?

I think that was it. I noticed the browser changed to dark recently and didn't know why. I read that means you're on private browsing. I must have switched to that at some point without realizing it. I think I got it fixed.

Thanks for the help!

I almost panicked because I couldn't remember my password at first. I haven't actually logged on manually in so long. Got it down now.

Proceed. Screw Florida.

Randomly happened to me once too. Some Good Samaritan on volnation pointed it out to me then.

Coming from the guy that says Barnett won't be the first Vol taken in the draft. Lol.

You guys need to realize Barnett is undersized and not an explosive athlete. NFL teams don't really salivate over the hard working productive guy with limited upside.

Dobbs, Hurd, and Sutton will all be taken before him. They are all elite athletes for their position with immense upside.

Tabor is as talented as any DB in the country, but he has a 2 cent brain. If he keeps his head on straight he'll be a pro bowl caliber player in the NFL, but I could also see him struggle to clean up his act. He's a punk, plain and simple. But he can play.

All that being said, his obsession with the Vols is starting to border on being creepy.

Not really. He's a below average athlete that will be exposed at the combine.

I expect he'll run a 4.55 or slower at the combine and plummet down the draft board ala Laquon Treadwell.

You need to realize you're wrong.

It's true, there are many things you could choose, as to why we lost certain games. Each game had at least 5 "If this one thing..." that would have been a victory. Missed kicks, 4th and forever, fumbles, missed tackles and offensive coordinating all come into the picture.

Nothing infuriated me about those games more than: run middle, run middle, long incomplete pass, punt.

I used to think you might actually believe some of your posts, but your posts tonight have me convinced you just enjoy throwing garbage out just to rile up those who haven't realized this yet. Think your going on my ignore list cuz "ain't nobody got time for that"!!

Barnett is a 6'3", 270 lbs defensive end who will likely run a 4.7 or so. He bends well enough that he consistently gets his pad level lower than anyone else in football when edge rushing. I can't count the number of ball carriers Barnett has tackled from behind by being so quick in pursuit on the backside of the play. He has power moves, violent hands, and plenty of athleticism. The folks who grade college football love him. The guys who write and publish mock drafts love him. The guys who give college football players awards love him.

He is neither "undersized" nor "not an explosive athlete." He isn't on the field whipping tail on blood, guts, and desire alone. He is an elite athlete at his position and he will compare favorably to anyone not named Kongbo or Garrett when it comes to his measurables at the combine. I will say this again in plain English so you can understand. Guys as big as Barnett is are not as fast as he is unless they are complete freak athletes. There are about 5-6 freak athletes per NFL draft class.

There are several things I dislike about you as a poster. Being a fair weather fan is the big one. But number two on the list is the narcissistic personality disorder.

What number was Joey Bosa taken at again? He a real explosive athlete? Bosa ran a 4.86 40 and only benched 24 reps of 225. Randolph says "that's nothing!" Bosa was taken because of his motor. He gets after the QB. That's exactly what Barnett does but Barnett is a better athlete than Bosa

And Scene. Barnett is comparable to Aaron Kampman with how he plays ball.
