Congrats. I know what you mean about watching football with a newborn. When UT came back and beat S. Carolina in 2014, my silent yell would have been deafening (it actually still even made a little noise LOL). When Croom caught the pass in the endzone to send it to overtime, I had to hand the little guy off to my wife really fast for a big fist pump.
Yep. He's recruiting Dooley style. Getting guys who have decent offers and rating but no speed.
I'm pretty convinced that Stoops is essentially a better recruiting Joker Phillips. That loss against Louisville last year was pitiful. Bowl game on the line and up 3 TDs and they lost. Not just lost, but lost badly.

He plays a sport with a high barrier of entry and has an inflated medal count because swimming award medals for doing the same thing in different ways.
Most people in the world don't have access to swimming pools. As a result, most countries don't have serious swimming programs. Swimming is restricted to very rich countries. So we really have no idea how great Phelps is because the pool of competitors he goes against is limited. Unlike Bolt who goes against everyone because running has almost no barrier to entry. Everyone in the world regardless of wealth can run.
And then about the medal count. Swimming has all these weird derivations of doing the same thing. Butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, etc. You have freestyle relays, medley relays, butterfly relays, etc. Basically all these different derivations of the same thing that inflate a medal count.
In track its the 100m, 200m, 400m, etc. Usain Bolt didn't have the liberty to winning medals in the 100m run backwards or the 200m skipping.
IMO there is no comparison between Bolt and Phelps as athletes. Bolt is significantly more impressive.

What about the 110m hurdles, the 400m, the 4x100, and the 4x400? That would put Bolt at 7 events. Bolt has ran the 400 before. Plenty of folks have competed in the hurdles and sprints previously. Hurdling is, by your logic, just another way of running.
Furthermore the only stroke that ha it's own relay is freestyle. The only non freestyle relay is the 4x100 medley.
Also, to claim there is no barrier to entry in track and field is ridiculous. Neither Bolt nor Phelps would exist without the money behind them.
Bolt is the greatest sprinter ever and fastest man in history. Phelps is the greatest swimmer and the greatest Olympian.

-VQ.Last Thursday, defensive coordinator Bob Shoop declared that Warrior would play early. Warrior was the second newcomer to lose his black stripe. Everyone you talk to who saw Saturday's scrimmage came away very, very impressed with Warrior's effort and his ability to go to the football. Warrior's play is a huge part of the reason Rashaan Gaulden is getting all the nickel work that he is getting because Shoop and secondary coach Willie Martinez are looking to get their best five on the field. No one is declaring that Warrior has arrived or is starting, but the freshman has announced is presence.
Ding ding ding. FYI, there's a 4x200m medley relay as well. I don't know what to say if someone thinks Phelps isn't in the category of the greatest athletes of all time. He's top 5 easily IMO.
