I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I've watched Tennessee lose to UF at Neyland in 96, 2000, 02, 06, 10, 12, and 14. I've never seen a victory against them here. My wife got me tickets to UF for my birthday this year

Quick someone hit the Speed dial to Tonya Harding .... Jk you do realize that your just like most vol fans that attend games so not exactly like your a jinx lol

I've only witnessed one victory over UF in Neyland....that was 04. I've only been to a few UT/UF games though...00,02,04,06,and 08.

"We got to see some work inside Neyland Stadium tonight. Defensively, the back end had Emmanuel Mosley, Todd Kelly Jr, Cam Sutton, Micah Abernathy and Malik Foreman runnings with the 1s. Abernathy was back out of the green and in orange tonight. Jonathan Kongbo was in orange tonight after spending most of last week in green.

Offensively, the line had Chance Hall and right tackle and Drew Richmond at left tackle. The middle of the o-line was unchanged. I thought the offense got some really good work in during individual. The Vols did some work inside the 20 and I thought the quarterbacks threw it well against air. Josh Dobbs seemed to put more air under the ball tonight and I thought he looked really good in the open portion."

"Looked like some guys getting maintenance on the final two a day practice of fall camp. Guys like Jalen Hurd didn't practice. Evan Berry continues to be limited as we works through a tender hamstring.

We got to see about 4 periods of work with much of it on special teams with punt return work.

Lots of technique work for the offensive line early on with some leverage drill work. They also did some pass pro work adding in the running backs. Obviously after giving up a large number of sacks on Saturday in the scrimmage pass pro was a focus. Quarterbacks and receivers worked routes vs. air. The passing game looked pretty crisp as the receiver unit seems to be growing in confidence.

Defensively, Shy Tuttle continues to work which is a good sign as he's not having any set backs. Kongbo is out of the green jersey and is working a good bit inside."

"We got to see very little of practice tonight but it looks like the two freshmen Georgia defensive backs are really catching the coaches' attention. Warrior and Buchanan both lined up with the twos when we saw them go out for a drill and it's clear to see why the coaches like them.

Both Warrior and Buchanan have earned some strong reviews here lately.

Kyle Phillips and Kongbo, back in his orange jersey, were the second team DEs, Bituli worked with some second team linebacker. Quay Picou worked with the second team DTs, too.

Green Jerseys were Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Austin Smith and Jauan Jennings. It seemed to be a maintenance day for several guys as well. Remember, they had a morning practice, too."

Not when you have Bolt that's set the 100m record time more than once.

Lewis didn't run as fast a 100m time as Bolt though. I'm talking about overall in their careers & not just for the Olympics. Bolt has the fastest 100m time ever. It will not be broken & if it does most of us won't be around to see it.

Bolt ran a 9.58 & Lewis personal best ever was a 9.86. That's not very close & not a good comparison to Bolt. Gatlin would be better than using Lewis as a comparison in the 100m events.

The comparison was that Carl Lewis was the best ever at the time that he ran. 20 years later, here comes Usain Bolt. Now the best ever...no one knows what 20 years from now will bring.

The next greatest could be watching the Olympics now. :hi:

I have good news for you. I have literally never been to a game where Tennessee beat UF, Swamp or Neyland. I promised when I moved back south in 2014 that, come hell or high water, I would be there when we ended the streak. In my first two trips since making that pledge, we have suffered excruciating 1-point losses in games we should have romped.

This is clearly a result of my selfish pledge. Fate has decided that I will wait until the world turns to dust, never to experience my greatest wish, for I was arrogant and angered the football gods. This is all my fault.

That, or it just so happens that we've been a crap team more often than not for the last decade, Florida hasn't, and as soon as we got close in talent we suffered some garbage (much of it self-inflicted, but not all of it) luck and gave a couple away, there are no curses, and the streak ends in decisive fashion here soon.

I'm going either way.

Really like the look of the starting OL. Richmond and Hall as your bookends looks pretty strong.

I gotta say, it's nice having a versatile piece like Kendrick too. I know he's not an All-SEC guy, but he's kept his head down, stayed out of trouble, works his tail off and is humble. Him being a senior, he can cause some headaches about not being given a starting job out of seniority, but just keeps working. He deserves some love.
