I gotta say, it's nice having a versatile piece like Kendrick too. I know he's not an All-SEC guy, but he's kept his head down, stayed out of trouble, works his tail off and is humble. Him being a senior, he can cause some headaches about not being given a starting job out of seniority, but just keeps working. He deserves some love.

He absolutely does. We have two promising 'utility' guys that play with a mean streak, and I mean utility in the nicest possible way. Jones and Kendrick can play multiple positions, are athletic enough to pull and move around some, and have experience. That's what we need. For depth, or for some make-or-break jumbo package.

Shout to Kendrick, and shout to Hall, too.

It sounds like Eason isn't setting the world on fire so far. He is apparently turning the ball over quite a bit and some people are saying Brice Ramsey looks the best of the three so far, but most people think Lambert will start vs UNC. I think Eason will eventually be good, but he played pathetic competition in HS while Rosen played at a powerhouse CA program and played one of the toughest schedules in the country. His transition is going to take a while. From Jake Rowe:

Understandable, but the fact that he hasn't taken or lead or separate himself at least lends some credibility to the question. It's a discussion. Personally, I think Georgia is going to have a tough season at the position. But that's just me.
Here's where I think things are different than Rosen. Rosen played much better high school competition and played in a league that isn't nearly as strong defensively.

Eason's high school competition was always a big question mark to me. I think he's going to be good eventually but there may be some growing pains.

We're going to kick UGA's ass.

Regardless of high school competition there hasn't been a freshman QB come into the SEC and blow it up right off the bat in the last 20-30 years. We're talking about the Triple A of football and the transition is just too big for QBs.

I don't expect Eason to do anything this year, but he might be a stud in a couple of years.

What happened to Swain. I listened way back in the TSR days here and there. He was decent then. Now he's brutal and I can't even turn him on at all. It's like he hates his old school ha

I am not sure. I still like him. He is very complimentary of Josh Dobbs. He does seem to have more of an edge now.

I've been saying it since everyone was praising Eason during the Spring that Lambert will start most if not all season.

As usual UGA season depends on their RB

I don't think the OL and defense is there this year. The OL is rebuilding and the defense looks weak to me in the front 7. I think their secondary is the most overrated unit for any team in the country. They ranked really high in pass defense, but they played a FCS team and the 127, 123, 112, 111, 110, 92, 87, 84, 82, 79, 74 ranked passing offenses. Look how Dobbs shredded them last year. Stewart Mandel predicted them st 7-5 this year.

Aaron Murray was pretty good right off the bat.

Can't really name any others though

Edit: nvm. He was a redshirt
