I had to bring a client to the UK hospital today, so I thought while I'm waiting on them I'll drive over and see if I can catch practice. Their brand new practice facility has a parking lot on a little hill overlooking it. So I'm about 100 yards from them. From what I can tell, they are a pretty lackadaisical squad. I've seen HS practices more organized and intense than this. And before anybody asks, I'm not posting the pics I took because I don't want to get in trouble.

My UK buddy who takes me to UK/UT every time they play in Lexington is a project engineer with Calhoun Construction Services who did the facility and tennis facility etc. Pics look pretty decent. I'm bringing him to the hill this fall for the annual beat down. He's pretty cool for a Cat fan. He believes every year they'll get us. Poor guy.

I generally don't, but I'm bad to flip around when other things go to commercial. I caught that little quip he made and figured he was still nursing whatever beef he has been for the last year or so.

I usually listen to national guys in the morning. The only time the local morning radio was worth a damn was a few weeks ago when Brian Rice was filling in for Dearstone. Having someone who possesses a functional personality and is reasonably well informed made that show tolerable. I don't mind Houston Kress, but its gotta be in short doses.

I listen to RTI everyday. I love Volquest podcast but they don't do enough. RTI is better with Ainge. I like Lewis a lot, But Rutherford does not do well on radio. He's a good guy and all and a fine writer, but he is not very good at radio. Wish they could either get Ainge every day or find someone else to cohost with Daniel. I like it a lot when Houston and Reed did the show back in the day.

100% Ainge and Lewis is by far best TN radio combo out there, by far.

No kidding look it up. Almost every country in the world has a swim team and competes at various levels. You just don't hear much about it.

On Alexis Johnson:

From talking to University people today, it's my understanding that there is a 5 business day appeal window from the time you received the written documentation on the ruling. I think Alexis got that last Thursday.

Given the nature of the case and what the University and athletic department has gone through with the Title IX stuff, I think they will likely wait till that appeal window closes before announcing or doing anything in terms of Johnson returning to football.

That means, I would guess you are looking at the end of this week for a possible return.

Yeah, I think he'll only be used in an emergency situation this season. But it will be big for him to get to practice with the team all through the season.

Worst case scenario is that we need him in October or November, and by then he should be ready to contribute some snaps if his number gets called.

I'm pumped that Johnson will be reinstated. But maaaaaaaaaaan I wish he had never been suspended and Tuttle had never been hurt. Our DL would be 100% bulletproof.

Bolt is a phenomenal athlete, GOAT candidate no doubt.

Phelps is the GOAT, no debate. Argue what you want, elitism, completion with others, whatever, he has DESTROYED history and that sport has a long history to boot.

Also, 2/3 of the world is covered by water. It's there for everyone to use. Waters not racist.
