Dwayne Ledford.

App State's OL coach and now at NC State.

Had them in the top 5 in sacks allowed in 2014 and 2015 before he got hired away. Was also the run game coordinator and had them top 20 in 2014 and top 5 in 2015.

You guys may have covered it, but Debord explained today that they expected to see man coverage from VT. They played zone and threw us off for the first quarter. That really explains why we saw a mesh on the first play. Dobbs forced it because he expected man. He could have hit Wolf down the middle of the field for 6.

Yeah, it was obvious that they were trying to pass the ball a lot in that game. Dobbs was looking to pass several times. Even the check down Kamara TD was meant to be a pass to the end zone. But protection failed so many times that's Dobbs had virtually no time to throw the ball. That's why I truly believe that the real problem with the offense is the OL and not Dobbs or Debord. Tho Debord is a bit predictable at times. That OL better improve or we have no chance winning during the 4 game stretch coming

The absent of slants is mind boggling to me. I also don't like the routes where the receiver runs out and stops 5 or 10 yards down the field and just stands there and waits for the ball to get there. That's a pick 6 waiting to happen. It almost did happen against App State
