Could we beat Florida running a triple-option offense? It's in the playbook and we know they've practiced it a bit going back to last season (and perhaps even more during closed practices). Florida would have done absolutely zero prep work for it, especially if the coaches let Dobbs sling it a bit vs Ohio.

Not saying it's even a possibility, of course, but it would be amazing if we suddenly deployed an entirely new offense for half or more of the offensive snaps vs the Gators.

Would be like a trick play that lasts for the entire game.

I would love to see us do something like that and continue doing it until they stopped it.

I daydreamed about that on my ride to work. Would be glorious and if we won using it then it would go down with the prowler as one of the all time game day coaching moves to secure a victory.

Got a few items to add to my collection.

UF pummeled UGA in 2014 by running the same few running plays over and over. UGA NEVER stopped it.

Chuck Oliver on ATL Radio 680 The Fan and he is currently saying the Vols will not move the ball an inch on the ground against Ohio. Says Dobbs will have to do something he's never done an bomb away for us to win. Honestly, what the hell is he talking about haha. He says it's sad but they will need a unique scenario to win. He said this literally verbatim. He said Bc they didn't move the ball on the ground against app state or VT. But in reality we actually rebounded and rushed for 250yards on Bud Fosters group. What's wrong with these people?

We threw for 90 yards against VT. A team with nothing to lose could very well stack the box all game (like 49ers did to Rams) and go 1:1 and force Dobbs to win with his arm. I don't think it's unreasonable to say Ohio might try that and just load up the box.

His reasoning is asinine (we ran all over both teams), but I can see teams starting to force Dobbs to win with his arm (or in the case of 2nd half OU/UF/ARKY last year, let debord keep calling run/screen plays with 10 men on the LOS)
