They didn't in 2014

If I could choose between Del Rio and a backup next week, I'll take the backup every time. We get a week to prepare for Appleby. If he goes out and Franks come in, then I might be worried, as he's a drastically different QB. But I still think we would shut him down. He threw 3 picks in their spring game.

Ppl must have been watching a different Florida team than I've seen three times this yr. it's not just del rio. Ivey is out for the first half and the right guard Jordan is also out. Callaway may play but he's not close to 100%. I only know what I've seen and it hasn't been impressive either. They have played truly awful teams all at home.

Longest win streak since '98-'99.

First 3-0 start since '04.

Y'all just enjoy it. Yeah we haven't looked like world beaters but geez guys y'all act like the season is over.

Yes, it's been so enjoyable to watch our team struggle to beat Ohio and Appalachian St while experiencing long term injuries to some of our most important players. The guy in the next office is an Alabama fan and I can't wait to talk some smack to him about our 3-0 start on Monday.

I can't freaking believe Missouri threw that game. It would have been HUGE for them to take an early SEC loss. We HAVE to beat FL and GA HAS to lose next week.

This place is pathetic tonight, honestly. Never seen people whine so much after a win.

Sack up. We're 3-0 going into Florida week, which is where we wanted to be. We aren't the only team with concerns. Every team on our schedule has problems. We have a ton of talent and we aren't playing near our ceiling right now. If our engine comes to life, we can swat this SEC East.

So let's grow a spine and help our boys crush Florida.

Butch and staff are definitely not worth what they are being paid this year as of today...

Ridiculous. Are you worried about style points? Are the results not there?

Our play hasn't been consistently impressive, but these are solid programs we've beaten. They will all be bowl eligible. They all have experience and good coaches.

Personally I take it as a positive that we are 3-0 with the way we've played. We haven't played to near our potential, yet we've found a way to win our games. If this team starts playing the way we know they're capable of, then game on.

It doesn't matter who the QB is-- the Gators will come into Neyland confident and expecting to win. Remember 2013? Jeff Driskel broke his leg and Tyler Murphy, a total unknown, came off the bench. In four years at UF, he had never attempted a single pass, but he lit us up. It will be a tough game, and we'll have to be ready.

But what do those games have to do w this one? Sure they're confident. So are we. It's always hilarious to hear our fans cry ab injuries constantly but when other teams have them those same fans act like those injuries don't matter. Boy this board is brutal lately.

My word, some of y'all need to calm down and just breathe.

3-0. Haven't played well yet, but it's been well enough to get the Vols exactly where they need to be. All of this team's goals are right in front of them.

Of course Florida CAN beat Tennessee, but they aren't better than Tennessee. Period. And this isn't 2014 or 2015. There's no great mystery to doing what needs to be done. They aren't invincible. They've just been let off the hook two years in a row and backed into wins.

We are 3-0 with as good a chance to beat Florida and hop in the driver's seat for the division as we've had. I'm enjoying this for right now.

Who's crying? I simply pointed out that UF finds ways to win with any QB. So does OSU. And Bama. Good teams do. But you're right about this board. Time for a break.

I will find it flat out impossible to continue supporting Butch if, in year 4, he loses at home to an already average Gators team next week with either a terrible backup QB or a freshman who has never taken a college snap under center.

Half our defense may be hurt right now, but the DL is still healthy and UF's OL isn't good.

Let Shoop do his thing and take the leash off Dobbs.

Did you not see Missouri have Georgia on the ropes? We have GOT to save our extra special double secret offense for THAT game.

It would only be impossible to support him until it wasn't. No one would care about losing to Florida if the Vols won out after.

I bet the Gators just play Callaway in the wildcat. We (I mean Jumper) won't be able to stop him. No QB problem at all.

This isn't the 2013 defense
