You're right. the Gators are the greatest defense to ever step foot on a field. No team stands a chance against them. Their second string would be the 2nd best defense in the history of football as well

I'm curious as to why anyone even responds to the trolling attempts of this semi-literate individual. Didn't I read someone refer to him as a "good poster"? Really?

I agree with that. Debord is trying to run Butch's offense. An offense that he's not ran in his previous career. I think Butch made a huge mistake because of that. If he'd brought in anyone that had experience with the zone/read spread then they could have advised Butch on some tweaks that might have helped. In addition, someone with experience could better adjust to what the defense is doing. One thing that was supposed to be an advantage to Debord was his ability to work with the oline. Hasn't shown this year as this line has regressed. I wonder if Debord has ever coached a zone blocking scheme?

Don't know too much about zone blocking but pretty sure Michigan didn't use it back when Debord was there.

Thinking the zone block scheme doesn't allow the OL to get up to the 2nd level to free up the RBs esp Hurd for longer runs.

Zone blocking scheme better suited for smaller, shifty RBs who make people miss. That's why I think Kamara and Kelly are better fit.

We score pretty quick on offense. Malone plays every snap and runs way more than anyone on the team.

Nobody should be getting gassed on offense.

My thoughts on Florida:

Rio being out doesn't seem like a massive blessing. Appleby may not be good but he has a lot of experience. I've seen reports that indicate that Rio barely beat him out for the starting position and that's only because he had an extra year I do believe.

Also, Florida reporter on the radio Friday mentioned that Callaway is healthier than being reported by most and had Florida played Tennessee this past weekend he would have played. No idea if true though.

I hope to see a lot of 2 back sets. It just opens up so much. 3 run options, play action, if you bring a sweep it's a 4th run option or if Jennings, even another pass option. Just so much they can do from there to confuse the Fla defense. I hope that's a major part of the plan. Kamara with Hurd as a lead blocker would be great also

I thought I read that Debord and Jones ran a spread offense when Debord was the head coach at CMU. There may have been different variations, but I think that was the case. Even though Debord spent some time in the NFL, I don't believe a spread is a foreign concept to him.
