But you're not impressed when we would beat a like team in a better league.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw that. CP is a fantastic kickoff returner but you have to catch the punt first before returning it.

Fielding a punt is completely different from a kickoff. Many on here have said they don't understand why we don't just put Evan Berry back there to return punts and this is the reason why not. I remember watching him trying to field punts early on in his career here and could tell that he would probably never do this for us.

And a scenario that either keeps DeBord as OC or brings in a Co-OC to run CBJ's system isn't going to be all that different. Kiffin worked out so well for Bama because Saban let Kiffin run his own offense and make adjustments to fit personnel.

I know odds are low but it would be cool to land a guy like this on the staff.

Per ESPN, when rumors etc got strong about his possible firing, Mark Helfrich reached out to Chip Kelly himself about possibility of returning to lead Oregon again. He said he did it in hopes that there was a chance that the rest of his staff that had spent near a decade in Oregon would be able to keep their jobs.

1. I don't believe I ever said we were a mid tier SEC team.

2. I believe the top half of the Big10 is better. Fairly even from the mid tier and down.

3. UF is a good win. Va Tech is a good win. TAMU doesn't suck.

If they think or know he is unhappy or doesn't want to be here, how will they perform at the bowl game? What are recruits thinking right now with all the speculation?
