Just voicing a thought on a message board about the Vols. My family has had season tickets since the 80s.

Just saying I've been contemplating not getting them next year because it would help me enjoy watching the Vols without feeling like I have so much invested. It's getting old investing so much time and money and getting small returns. I will continue to be a huge Big Orange fan of course.

I'm not sure why you felt like you had to respond in such a rude way, when you don't even know who I am or what is going on in my life. Apologies if I offended you in some way.

We had season tickets until Fulmer was fired and then quit getting them. With the exception of this year, I have still attended 2 or 3 games. I have a big screen TV, we get good food, can take restroom breaks without having to disturb people and you don't have to fight that traffic. It's okay and much cheaper.

Ordinarily I would agree but this fanbase is in a class by itself. Even objective eyes would tell you they latch onto the negative in anything and cry to the heavens about any crumb of misery they can find.

The way he is able to leave out or typo an operative word is crazy.

Then he vanishes from the board for a couple of hours or two before he returns to explain himself leaving the handwringers on vq in a panick.

Purdue would take Butch Jones in a heartbeat, assuming he was willing to take Purdue money. The lack of interest is 100% financially based.

Clemson fans wanted Dabo fired after 2010 and then really bad after they were Clemsoned in bowl game after a good 2011.

Turned out pretty well when he hired great assistants and got out of their way.

This is our best hope imo. Chances of us hiring an elite coach are small. If Butch makes the right staff hires and backs off and let's them do their thing, he can still be successful.

I think we could get a really good OC/QB coach but I'm not sold on Butch moving out of the way and just delegating
