Depends on when. If it is a couple of years from now, and his offenses are still doing well at USC- they improved throughout the year, I think he would be a quality candidate. If it's within the next 365 or so days though, I think he'd be a little down the list.
I think he has major potential though.
CPF was a first time HC and that turned out OK. A strong AD is essential to success as CPF relied on Dickey for counsel during his formative years.
Ironic that if you were putting props on what former UT QB would end up as HC at UT one day, Peyton would probably be third at best behind Tee and JBC. Still wouldn't put money on any of them though.
I would not want to hire Peyton. Sure, he might be great. But what if he wasn't? What if he was a terrible head coach? You can't fire Peyton Manning at Tn. That would be an awful situation
With Malone possibly entering the NFL draft this year
I think Brandon Johnson will be scary good as the #1 WR next year. Kid has a good catch radius and plays with like a #1 WR. Him and Jennings on the outside well be one of the better units in the SEC.
Yep. If JG is as good as advertised I don't think it's crazy to think that we could be as good on paper next year as we was this year. If Shoop can get our D straightened out then 10 wins isn't out of the question. IMO

Definitely. I'd put our floor around 8 wins, maybe 7 if things don't go our way. Veteran team around the board, 2nd year under a good coordinator, hopefully some good S&C and positional changes. Very much in play for the east.
