Malone is in an interesting spot. He had a good year. I think he will test well, but would it be enough to get him in the top 3 rounds? The WR class coming out isn't that deep, but I'm not sure he's shown the consistency on the field to get in those higher rounds. On the other hand, the QB that favored him is leaving, and the QB next year is a big question mark for him in regards to production.

I lean that he jumps and takes his chances but it depends on who we bring in at QB/Co-OC. He should come back as he needs to work on some things but don't blame him for capatalizing on some nice stats.

No. Only way Tee is a Vol coach is as a HC or under a different staff

I'd be all for that. It's tough though because it looks like the majority of Clemson's offensive staff played at Clemson. May not want to move.

He had a very productive year this year and will test very well. I could see him sneak into the 2nd day.

Will be a big decision for him. The Vol in me wishes he would stay another year.

Hard for me to see much success there with a coach without major Texas connections.

I have a feeling that Baylor is about to experience regression to the mean.

Great year by Josh Malone after all the heat he has taken in years past. He was consistent and made the big plays. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him jump. I think he has shown enough but would love to have him back. Stay safe Josh!

Not at all. Terrible fit for both parties. He could prove wrong because he is a good tough coach but this feels like Strong and TX. No connections to the area and going against the grain of the Big 12 offensive minded coach. He should have waited for a Big Ten type job

I've been thinking about this possibility too. I don't hate it. Wouldn't be my Plan A, though.

If he was a HC elsewhere first to work out his mistakes. We can't be hiring first timers here to learn on the job.

Depends on when. If it is a couple of years from now, and his offenses are still doing well at USC- they improved throughout the year, I think he would be a quality candidate. If it's within the next 365 or so days though, I think he'd be a little down the list.

I think he has major potential though.

I'd rather hire a homerun, but if Gruden or Chip Kelly or someone like that won't come, id be okay with taking the chance on him
