Here is a possible discussion point. Who do you nominate for captain this year? I'll go Jennings, Thomas, Kelly Jr, Vickers

Need to have rotating captains again and go away from permanent.

That takes away from the fun of the discussion, lol. But I agree for team 121 it would be appropriate. Get everyone taking accountability.

That's somebody's opinion, not fact. I'm sure not all players agreed on the captains. I would guess Kamara. He'd only been at UT a year, wasn't a senior starter and had less PT than others. That's an opinion I thought was irrelevant to the story. Choosing captains is the team's business and they should be able to choose anybody they want.

I understand. You stood behind a writer and story you didn't even bother to read before giving your expert opinion. Lesson learned I guess.

I'm not really worried about it. I made comments on generalities that really weren't exclusive to the article. Someone brought up "college football source" and I said that that sounded like a strange way to put it. I acknowledged that I hadn't read it throughout my comments.

If that affects my credibility with you, I can live with that.

Whatever we used to do. This year was not a good experiment. Maybe would have been fine if our captains had stayed healthy.

In the article he makes a big deal about it not being Dobbs or Barnett(not a captain)..his source was talking about JRM, AK and Cam without specifically calling their name.

DK Jr on defense with Kelly IMO not sold on Tuttle as captain, he's too quiet.

Exactly! Why would any of them not want this team to be the best it could possibly be? They are all trying to get paid next year. Dobbs might be the only one that doesn't go to the NFL and that is because his aspirations have always seemed to be to pursue a career in aircraft design. All the others are trying to get drafted so them shamming makes ZEEEERRROOOO sense!

Yikes on Sutton. I doubt that holds true. But he certainly didn't help himself on the field these last few games.
