Mayock is not any good as an evaluator. He's just a loudmouth who has large platform.

He's one of the many "draft experts" that had Blaine Gabbert rated higher than Cam Newton back in 2011. Since then I haven't paid him a lick of attention.

Disagree. He's not perfect, and misses on QBs a lot...but he's pretty good with skill players and OL.

No it makes perfect sense. Butch knows he might need to add a tittle to the QB hire to finish the deal. Can't name Scott OC now and change it later to Co-OC.

Reading up non canales and seeing that he has coached quarterbacks for so long and seen QBs have great success, even working with Rivers and Foles, I think he'll be fine at the QB coaching job. I'm just disappointed that he doesn't bring the name that could help us in recruiting. Kids would have to google him like I did to know who he is. Weinke or Dorsey would've brought far better name recognition. Who knows. Maybe we get Welker and that helps us with recruiting.

On field development has to be first at this point and time IMO. If QD or JG don't win them the recruit aspect is irrelevant for Jones. I don't blame him for realizing that.

Bama friend of mine scared their idiot fans will keep dogging Saban until he pulls a Spurrier. Spurrier resigned and said the fan base was always unhappy no matter the results.

Saban doesn't give a damn what the fool fan thinks. He doesn't even notice it IMO.

5 days until deadline to declare for NFL draft. What is Hurd waiting on? Last I read, he still hasn't asked UT for permission to speak to other schools.

I think there is a chance he might really be quitting football.
