Yeah. I realized it about the time I hit send on my post...lol. Could have just gone back and deleted the post, but figured if I was dumb enough to take the bait, I might as well let the VN world see my stupidity.

Well, you are a crayon eating former Jarhead....so there's that.

"Guys! I just heard JRM is coming back for another season! It was posted in the forums so it is true and cannot be refuted! Thanks!"

"We told you last week that Richmond offensive assistant Jeff Durden was a name to watch. After some digging, we have learned that Tennessee interviewed Durden yesterday. We don't believe they are done interviewing candidates for the QB position."

From the Richmond website...

Jeff Durden – Offensive Coordinator

Coach Huesman won’t be the only member of the coaching staff with experience in winning national championships after bringing Durden on board as the Spiders’ new offensive coordinator. Durden helped the Mocs build a powerful offense, which led to three straight SoCon Offensive Player of the Year awards and three straight FCS Playoff appearances.

Durden was also on staff at JMU when the Dukes won the national championship in 2004. He spent nine years at JMU, along with time at VMI, Morehead State, California (Pa.), West Georgia and Georgetown (Ky.).

“I’m really excited to have Jeff join the staff here at Richmond. He’s got outstanding knowledge of his league after spending time at JMU. He did an excellent job with us at Chattanooga for the past four years. We’re going to spread the ball around offensively, use a lot of movement and get a lot of people involved. I’m glad I got a chance to bring Jeff with us.”

Poached from Freak's new thread in the FF since most of us rarely go there. I found this very interesting:

Football Looking at Josh Dobbs' stats
I was looking at Dobbs' stats this morning. A few numbers...

-Highest completion percentage in the SEC for quarterbacks with at least 300 attempts. (63%) Not bad for a guy labeled as "inaccurate."

-Highest QB rating (150.6)

-Led the conference in passing touchdowns (27)

-I was surprised to see he was sacked 25 times.

-Think about this: Dobbs was Tennessee's leading rusher in three out of the Vols' last four games (Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky) and also against Virginia Tech earlier this year.

-He was 17th in the SEC in rushing (831 yards) and tied for 6th in rushing TDs (12)

One man wrecking crew on offense. I know folks don't think he has much of a future in the NFL but if I'm an NFL GM I see the possibility of a Dak (and many others) type DT QB success and I roll the bones on him. No way I let him past the 4th and I probably take him in the 3rd. It may sound risky at first but a far lesser players who are guaranteed headaches on and off the field are taken in the 3rd and 4th. Dobbs is a high pay off player with little downside -- worst case scenario is you have a serviceable backup QB who is a joy to work with and benefits his team in other ways.

That said, I realize he'll likely go lower. I'm just saying he's worth the pick and has the potential of making you look like a genius if he realizes his potential.

So many great players coming out for the 2017 NFL Draft its unreal. I just watched some film on Joe Mixon and was blown away. The guy is incredible. He should definitely be drafted in the 1st round and is a better pro prospect than Leonard Fournette IMO. Here is my big board as it stands for now:
