So many great players coming out for the 2017 NFL Draft its unreal. I just watched some film on Joe Mixon and was blown away. The guy is incredible. He should definitely be drafted in the 1st round and is a better pro prospect than Leonard Fournette IMO. Here is my big board as it stands for now:

I'm sorry, I just can't resist... You think that 3 of the best 7 players in this draft are Vols? It seems like that's that's the case.
If so, one of two things is happening:
1) You are wildly overrating players from the team you support (except for Barnett, weirdly).
OR
2) Every single GM, scout, and analyst just so happened to make the EXACT SAME MISTAKE in undervaluing these 3 guys. Not only that (and here's where it gets spooky), these 3 future HOFers JUST SO HAPPENED to play for our beloved 9-4 Volunteers. Not only that, but you JUST SO HAPPENED to watch hours and hours of film on every single one of them. What luck! What sheer, fantastic luck! I can't imagine your glee, when one night around 4 am you realized during Hour 9 of film study of the TTU game that you were in fact watching 75% of the future NFL Mt. Rushmore!
Orrrr maybe you're a regular fan, and it's #1.

Not considering the teams, I would take Barnett or Allen number 1. There isn't really a QB that excites me too much in this class. I wouldn't draft Garrett till the second round, too many questions regarding his production and durability. Fournette and Cook would be my first two RBs taken, no surprise there. I'd have Kamara third tho. Think he is vastly underrated. Mike Williams is a top 10 pick. Those are just a few of my thoughts. I say that with the admission that I watch very little outside of the SEC unless it's a big game.

There are two end result options for Butch and these hires.
He has a new AD coming in that did not hire him which is nerve racking for coaches.
A. He hires the names listed that the fans are not crazy about and makes the fans eat crow.
B. He hires the names listed the fans are not crazy about and falls flat on his face. This would be bad considering the AD situation.
These are the most important hires in his coaching career.
For some reason I'm not getting worked up over these hires. Maybe it's just me.
