I guess the NFL is racist against white DB's and RB's too.
Seeing things like this with Croom and also Kamara and Kelly, I am concerned over the management of personnel by our coaches. Kamara is a first round back and barely touches the ball. Croom proves to be a playmaker and we barely used him at all. Byrd getting 1-2 touches a game. I'm concerned about that
While I understand your point, you just named 4 players and that doesn't include Dobbs, Malone, and Jennings, who were great weapons. There is one football, and this is much easier said than done. They all can't get 7 touches a game.
True. But if Alvin is really a first round talent that's pretty bad. Plus, we saw how better Kelly was than Hurd in this offense also
$$$ >>> wins
NFL is above all else a money making enterprise. Right now its the most popular sport in North America largely because the faces of the sport (the top QBs) are white. Too many black QBs means the faces the league will change from white to black. That would make the NFL more like the NBA and Joe public wouldn't identify with it quite as much as they do now.
Why else do you think the NFL is going to the FCS ranks to get QBs? They're running out of white prospects in the FBS ranks because all the top teams are now running spread read option schemes. Even mighty Alabama now has a black QB.
Hilarious coming the a guy who's been discounting Watson for the pst 3 yearsLittle to no chance Dobbs goes undrafted. Much worse QBs get picked every year. I don't know what scouts volfanngatorland is talking about but I haven't heard any word from official NFL sources on Dobbs draft position right now. The only chatter is from the internet clowns like Matt Miller and Lance Zierlan. These guys are overwhelmingly idiotic and rarely know anything.
Plus anyways, the hot thing right now according to these internet scouts is to discount accomplished black QBs like Deshaun Watson and Josh Dobbs while elevating marginal white QBs like Mitch Trubisky and Nathan Peterman.
