Hard for me to see on Peterman... watched most of his bowl game and I just don't see it. Good for him though.

Senior class weak overall. Peterman did have a pretty good two year stretch statistically though. Didn't watch him much, but that Clemson game was clutch.

I have no idea - just throwing it out there as the combine analysts will have him broken down in fine detail when done. Some have speculated receiver, but does he have the speed, quickness, jumping ability? The only option from my perspective at this point is clipboard carrier.

Exactly. IMO, he doesn't have any other position options other than back-up or 3rd string QB.

In 9 of the past 12 NFL drafts, there has been an African-American QB selected in the first round, 5 of them were a top 3 pick in the draft. I'm not really buying into this racial bias.

Are you saying that NFL GM's, who have to win games to keep their jobs, are making decisions that would potentially cause them to win fewer games because they don't want black players at QB despite the fact that they are more than willing to put them elsewhere on the field?

$$$ >>> wins

NFL is above all else a money making enterprise. Right now its the most popular sport in North America largely because the faces of the sport (the top QBs) are white. Too many black QBs means the faces the league will change from white to black. That would make the NFL more like the NBA and Joe public wouldn't identify with it quite as much as they do now.

Why else do you think the NFL is going to the FCS ranks to get QBs? They're running out of white prospects in the FBS ranks because all the top teams are now running spread read option schemes. Even mighty Alabama now has a black QB.
