Some points of interest I've been reading regarding the draft.

Have seen several scouts say they currently have an non draftable grade on Dobbs after watching his film. I assume some will have him as a late round flyer, but doesn't seem he's held in high regard at this point. Senior Bowl could help him some.

Have also seen several guys saying that Nate Peterman may be the best Sr QB in the draft this year (not counting underclassmen)

If this happens D4H will be on suicide watch.

I've been thinking for a while that Dobb's best shot to play in the NFL is at WR

We will know the options for Dobbs' NFL aspirations starting with the combine. Unlike Tebow, he is probably more willing to consider a position move.

What would he play?

I have no idea - just throwing it out there as the combine analysts will have him broken down in fine detail when done. Some have speculated receiver, but does he have the speed, quickness, jumping ability? The only option from my perspective at this point is clipboard carrier.

Supposedly has that opportunity right now and not interested with Indy. That more about Irsay relationship?

Cutcliffe was on 104.5 this last week and he said Peyton had been advised to take 3 or 4 years off before jumping in. Two reasons ~ be around your family and, basically, detox from football. Cutcliffe also said he'll never be a coach.

Dobbs is in D4H's Top 5 players so that would just make every NFL scout and GM a bunch of idiots and he'll just post more garbage than ever before.

Desperately trying to find a white QB to put at the top of board.

Doesn't surprise me.

That is not the only reason, but they have definitely demonstrated that they are more than willing to cut corners. I am still very puzzled by why they think that they need that extra edge, like filming practices or deflating footballs. Belichick is a terrific coach. He does not need to do that. I will say that they still get away with a lot on the field. They had to change the defensive holding rule because the NE DBs mugged receivers all the way down the field with impunity. Also, I do think their fumbles are up since the whole defate-gate thing came out. I suspect that they have been doing that for years.

I was being sarcastic on the only reason they win as d4h made a comment that it was. Pats are best coached team in NFL. Similar to Saban and Bama in college. If you ain't cheating or pushing boundaries you ain't trying to win. They look for ways to have competitive advantage and wait for someone to tel them to stop and move on to the next grey area.

Little to no chance Dobbs goes undrafted. Much worse QBs get picked every year. I don't know what scouts volfanngatorland is talking about but I haven't heard any word from official NFL sources on Dobbs draft position right now. The only chatter is from the internet clowns like Matt Miller and Lance Zierlan. These guys are overwhelmingly idiotic and rarely know anything.

Plus anyways, the hot thing right now according to these internet scouts is to discount accomplished black QBs like Deshaun Watson and Josh Dobbs while elevating marginal white QBs like Mitch Trubisky and Nathan Peterman.

Hard for me to see on Peterman... watched most of his bowl game and I just don't see it. Good for him though.

Here we go again with the race baiting. SMH...

Deshaun Watson being considered a 3rd rounder. Josh Dobbs not being draftable. While some guy named Mitch Trubisky is a lock to be a first rounder. And now they're claiming Nathan Peterman is the top senior QB.

Try to square this type of reasoning with any logic?

There is a clear racial bias in the NFL when it comes to the QB position. Dak Prescott fell to the 4th round as one of the most accomplished QBs in college football history. While guys like Jared Goff and Carson Wentz go 1 and 2 overall.

Now you have guys like Daniel Jeremiah on the NFL Network saying he hasn't talked to a single team that has a first round grade on Deshaun Watson but yet all the chatter from the scouting world is about Mitch Trubisky being a lock to go in the first round.

Please tell me how this isn't evidence of a clear racial bias?

Osweiler's contract is 4 years 72 million. 37 million guaranteed for first 2 years. NFL his hurting for some good quarterbacks.

Just proves that John Elway is a very smart man. You can't give that kind of money to someone who didn't have the track record.

Are you saying that NFL GM's, who have to win games to keep their jobs, are making decisions that would potentially cause them to win fewer games because they don't want black players at QB despite the fact that they are more than willing to put them elsewhere on the field?
