Had a 12 year old try to pull out in front of me on his bike to get me to stop. I slowed down only to see him grabbing for a pistol in his pants. He moved when he realized that international wasn't going to stop . This was on pope st off summer btw

I live in Harlan Kentucky brother, there is a very good reason I believe what I said to be true, few upward middle class people want to go back in most of the hollers here, and there aren't a lot of folks of color here. Not every freaking class problem in the world has to be about race.

Seriously? It doesn't matter where I live. I represent people.

And...if you drive those streets in Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, and dare I say, Nashville, you would see similar things.

I thought his response was very reasoned. I have never been to Memphis, so I cannot speak to its suckage or lack thereof, but the OP made a very compelling argument, IMO.

So, you admit that there are parts of Memphis that don't suck. If you go to the ghetto, you will see ghetto people doing ghetto things. I am a lawyer and I have lived in Midtown almost twenty years and never witnessed anything more violent than a bar fight. Seen more barfights at the O'Charley''s in Kingsport than any given bar in Midtown or Downtown Memphis.

I've lived in Central Gardens for 7 years. There are literally hundreds of Lawyers, Doctors, Business Men , & Engineers that live here.

You know, in the city. In "Memphis".

There are parts of Nashville that are so nice. There are parts that scare me just thinking about.
