Sitting in the lobby for a big job interview in 20 minutes, and instead of looking at notes I'm reading the report on the new DB recruit.

Ain't that the ******* way

I remember having an exam in a half hour and instead of studying I was panicking that Danny OBrien's announcement was delayed by like 10 minutes. It's the volunteer way

From what I've seen of the team that sums it up. I haven't mentioned the Oline because I think they'll be OK and get better as the season goes on. Also I agree! Very glad we have them at home. Need to get revenge not just against them but against muschamp for his comments after that 2014 game

South Carolina is Ole Miss with less talent. That's the way I would sum up their team.

I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't just look it up.

In Josh Dobbs' senior season, he averaged more total yards per game and touchdowns per game than Tim Tebow did in either his Junior or Senior Season seasons.

We didn't lose because of offense. The defense and injuries were the main hurdles

That's a pretty accurate description. great offense not looking great on defense. As much as I dislike muschamp though he's a very good defensive coach and he has some pieces to work with (Moore, Williams, Nixon, King). All comes down to what their lines of scrimmage are like.

They'll be ready for their NTC rotation coming up. I was paired up with the Regimental Support Squadron. I covered down on their S2 and S3 sections. Gave them some classes in TACSOP writing, battle drill development, and contingency planning for when SHTF. They were solid and I wanted to push them over the top. I used to do a lot of guest OC/T rotations at NTC so I hit the areas with them that they would get surprised with. Told them that I can't let the Volunteer Regiment fail.

Nice. My pal is an E6 and I think he leads a gun crew. Very squared away dude.

That probably should be broken down to pre-Bentley and post-Bentley. The offense played better after Bentley started. They only really struggled against UF and Clemson late in the year.

So basically they struggled against every defense with a pulse. They only scored 24 on us and we weren't very good on D.

They both have good QB's but Mississippi's is elite. Ole Miss has better skill position players and OL. South Carolina has good WR's.

Ole miss has more talen on D but SCAR has better system and coach.

Right I was agreeing with you. SC has a great RB core though to go with those receivers. Rico Dowdle is a kid we are going to regret not offering when we had the chance. Ty'son Williams looks like their AK, and turner is a good third back. Mom Denson will get carries too. Bentley just has to be a game manager and I've heard good things about him. He's a coach's son so they spend a lot of time watching film and understanding the game. Only thing I'm saying at the end of the day is that Vegas is wrong. USCe will win more than 5 football games and compete for the east with UT and UGA

Before Bentley, they struggled against some teams that were not very good on defense. My point was that they improved once he became the starter.

Before Bentley, they only scored 10 against UK and 13 against A&M, both who did not have great defenses. They also scored 20 in a win against ECU, who gave up 35+ points eight times last season.

There was improvement late in the year even if it wasn't against good defenses.

They got shut down by those teams and let us be real, Mizzou and UT were terrible on D.

USC fans disagree with me, but I was not even close to impressed by Bentley.

He may be the next best thing, but I saw a kid doing just enough, not blowing things up

JMO

And I don't care if he was supposedly a high school senior due to reclassification. That's a tired narrative. His age was that of a true freshman
