Before Bentley, they struggled against some teams that were not very good on defense. My point was that they improved once he became the starter.

Before Bentley, they only scored 10 against UK and 13 against A&M, both who did not have great defenses. They also scored 20 in a win against ECU, who gave up 35+ points eight times last season.

There was improvement late in the year even if it wasn't against good defenses.

Good points. I still don't think their offense was good after Bentley took over. Better than futile, but not good.

Glad to see Phil back in the UT system! He has always been a great ambassador for Tennessee.

Boom!

Oh....and they announced it on my birthday!

Oooh! Look who went and got BORN! :neener:

There were two of the freshman receivers who had schoolwork to complete before enrolling this summer. Do we know if they completed their courses and will be on time?

Jones and my favorite incoming WR, Murphy. Last I heard, they would hopefully, enroll for the 2nd semester of summer school, in July

Do we keep Tuttle out of the GT game for health from all those cut blocks and ease him back against Indiana St if he's ready to play?

I wish UT would just redshirt Tuttle and give him an extra year to get completely healthy. But, I know that won't happen, so yes, sit him out GT, play him 15 or so snaps at ISU and then let him go against Florida

That probably should be broken down to pre-Bentley and post-Bentley. The offense played better after Bentley started. They only really struggled against UF and Clemson late in the year.

Not just Bentley. SC also got that good RB, Dowdy, I believe, and 2 good WRs in the lineup for the second half of the season. A much better offense after that.

Tuttle is too good to redshirt. It would be good for his health if they did but he's the best DT we have hands down. Idk when he'll play but he'll play this year

Also help me with what we consider our current silents.

RB - Grant
RB - Dixon
OL - Calvin
DE - Emerson
DE - Chatman
LB - Jones

Anyone else?

SCAR should get destroyed by us this year. The S&C program going back to elite status will handle this win. We should run for 200+ on them and drag them. Send the message to WM once and for all.

I thought the expectation was that he would still be rehabbing at the start of the season? Would be great news if playing him in those early games is even an option at all.

My Cardinals suck. My Arsenal finished outside of the top 4. My USMNT is gonna have to settle for 2nd or 3rd in the Hex. My Grizzlies did what they always do. My Colts were/are not a good team.

I need MY University if Tennessee Volunteer Football Team to win the east. It's our time.
