Before Bentley, they struggled against some teams that were not very good on defense. My point was that they improved once he became the starter.
Before Bentley, they only scored 10 against UK and 13 against A&M, both who did not have great defenses. They also scored 20 in a win against ECU, who gave up 35+ points eight times last season.
There was improvement late in the year even if it wasn't against good defenses.
Do we keep Tuttle out of the GT game for health from all those cut blocks and ease him back against Indiana St if he's ready to play?
That probably should be broken down to pre-Bentley and post-Bentley. The offense played better after Bentley started. They only really struggled against UF and Clemson late in the year.
I wish UT would just redshirt Tuttle and give him an extra year to get completely healthy. But, I know that won't happen, so yes, sit him out GT, play him 15 or so snaps at ISU and then let him go against Florida
