Just tried my first murder case as first chair. Jury deliberating on Monday. Am now drunk. will attempt to stay drunk all weekend to keep from worrying.
The justice system bothers me so much. We take two sides who each have 0 interest in justice and hope they exactly cancel each other out in such a way that the end result lands on justice. Instead of having two sides both searching for the actual truth of a matter, we get two sides to avoid the truth at all costs and just hope that one isn't smarter or better at legal gymnastics than the other.
Did you watch the tape? Because comparing him to Jamarcus is just silly. He can actually make timing routes and isn't addicted to lean. Completely different players. I'm just stating what NFL scouts said. Not stating my opinion as fact... He plays like Joe Flacco
I remember a really talented Tennessee team going into the swamp in '01 as about 3 touchdown underdogs. Guarantee the OBC remembers it as well. May have been Spurriers best team at Florida, top three at least.
Just seems like UT and Florida are pretty evenly matched. Considering UF had home field, a 4-6 point line seems more appropriate.
It was posted on here that there were reasons tee needed to get away from the Knox area. If that's truly the case it's probably for the best he went to Clemson. It sucked missing out on him but as fans we shouldn't hold a grudge against the guy. He made his decision and I hope he has a successful career.
I think he does too.
I'm just not sure if he's got the maturity yet to do all the rest as well as the other guy.
We don't know anything about either. That Spring Game defense was the most vanilla thing I've seen. QBs had one incompletion combined. They didn't let the secondary even attempt to press. Smh JG made one bad throw(his first in-game of any kind) then settled down. One sack would've happened if Dobbs was the QB. The other I'm confident he would've still been running. Dude barely touched his arm reaching out.
The bad throw didn't bother me too much. Always good to see how a young QB bounces back from one and I think he did pretty decently in that regard. He would've likely avoided that sack as well.
That being said, he just didn't look as in control as Dormady IMO. Granted, you're right and it was only a half of one scrimmage.
I definitely think Gurantano has the higher ceiling, I'm just not sure he's as close to his right now as Dormady is.
Either way the stuff goes, I think we'll see good QB play this year.
I agree we shouldn't take too much from the spring game.I mean he was handing the ball off. Made the tougher completion of the two. Also no passes were over 15 yards. So I'm no taking a thing from the Spring Game. One incomplete pass between the two should tell you all you.
And JG shouldn't be close to his ceiling. Kid has enormous talent. We should start him and grow him into what he really is as a player. If the two are close you always start the younger guy. He has more long term potential in your program.
Yeah I just could not imagine being a defense attorney arguing for then it guilty plea when the evidence is overwhelming that my client is guilty. I couldn't do that, don't know how anybody can and sleep at night. Don't know how OJ's attorneys lived with themselves
I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't just look it up.
In Josh Dobbs' senior season, he averaged more total yards per game and touchdowns per game than Tim Tebow did in either his Junior or Senior Season seasons.
