I'm in no way slighting Eric Berry as a player. He's phenomenal and has overcome a lot.

I just had absurd expectations for him going to the NFL. Like I said, I thought he would be Ed Reed and Sean Taylor level as a pro. And although he's been great, he's NOT been that good.

He hasn't even been better than Earl Thomas who was from the same draft class.

Did u even watch the Atlanta game last year? He won the damn game by himself! The guy is elite, no doubt. You are so wrong so often it blows my mind.

I'm not going to quote D4H to save you guys who have him on ignore. I just want to point out in this thread he has disparaged a Tennessee legend and all-time good guy, Eric Berry. He has said that Berry wasn't that impressive in the pros and that he's had a worse career than Earl Thomas.

This is an unforgivable offense. Therefore I submit to you this official motion to have D4H's Vol card revoked permanently.

I mean, Earl Thomas wasn't even an All-Pro this year. He's ranked #30 on the NFL's Top 100 players list, which is voted on by other players. EB is ranked #13.

EB has missed 2 of his 7 professional years... He has come back from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma to play at an All Pro level. He used to scrub helmets on Friday night before games.

EB is the real deal. D4H is not fit to be considered part of Volnation.

Thank you for your consideration.

Doug Atkins and Reggie White are the only Vols to be in both the college football hall of fame and the NFL hall of fame. Peyton Manning will join them as soon as he is eligible. Those guys would undisputedly be on the Mt. Rushmore of UT football. I could definitely see Berry, Barnett, or both ultimately joining this elite company.

Mt Rushmore of Vols:
Neyland, Atkins, Reggie, Peyton

Mt Rushmore of Players Only:
Atkins, Reggie, Peyton, Berry

If y'all don't have someone blocked who said Eric berry has been a disappointment then Y'ALL ARE the real dumbasses

Been blocked, that dude is damn fool. How is being a Pro Bowl/All-Pro safety a disappointment? And beating cancer as well. That mofo is just DUMB. I don't care if he is a troll or not that's a doofus to the tenth power. 🤡 🤡🤡🤡🤡

He's had an ACL tear and cancer hold him back and his peers still voted him the 13th best player in the NFL.

EB deserves the recognition but damn NFL are terrible at ranking their peers. Tyreek Hill was 30-something on that list. One year Tim Tebow was way up there despite being one of the worst starting QBs in the league.

Tyreek Hill had 1836 all purpose yards last year and 12 touchdowns as a rookie.

Hill is kinda nasty though. 😎😎😎😎😎

Most dangerous man in the NFL with the ball.

These don't really seem comparable, but he asked.

Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you pull this.

I think Holly is a train wreck and the head of an elite program.

Hurd was a kid who got bad info and started making waves. He became a cancer. Those things happen in a locker room and you deal with it.

Holly is by far the worst situation.

Agree. One is a player losing his mind. The other is the take down of an entire iconic program. The DeShields deal is just one symptom among many of systemic failure. There are many players and coaches that do not want to be a part of something they know is tubing because of incompetence. So they voice it or just bolt for greener pastures. If they voice it they have "bad attitudes" and such. Sometimes people branded with bad attitudes are right.
