I honestly don't understand what's in Swain's head half the time. Years ago I remember hearing him on the radio and he sounded ok but the stuff he says on twitter and what people have reported he says on the radio now are often weird as hell and/or bombastic. I know there's always a ratings/publicity drive but it seems like he's changed a great deal over the years.

And they didn't use him nearly enough. He was torching my Titans and they just stopped trying to get the ball to him for whatever reason. I was thankful but scratching my head

Ha this bump sparked by interest. A quick look at the previous ten preseason rankings showed UGA being the highest East team 4 times. Surprisingly SCe was twice.

Now that doesn't mean they weren't the favorites in the East more or less than 4, I just have a hard time believing it was 8 or 9 times.

ATP I think it comes down to us and UGA.

I would say the past ten years breakdown in favorites probably goes:
UGA: 4-5
UF: 3-4
USCe: 2
UT: 1-2

Florida will somehow manage to be in the running at the end. They'll find a way.

It really is odd. I always assumed he was a little salty when he realized he couldn't play the VFL card as media, and things spiraled from there.

Him being on 1180 doesn't help. Both AMs in town are generally awful when it comes to the type of audience you're playing to.

IIRC the preseason media favorite hasn't won the east in something like 10 years. I find that amazingly bad
