Lol. This is waaay to good.

Vandy football players show up to a "fight" over a stolen cell phone with a pellet gun. The other side of the "fight" brought a real gun and shot at them.

I'm surprised charges haven't been filed by police against the players. Alleged stolen phone or not you can't just show up to meet someone brandishing a weapon. Regular people would be in deep ish for this.

So you take a couple of buddies with you for 'muscle', and take a pellet gun (how dumb is that?). And for your efforts you not only don't get your phone back, you get shot, get one of your friends shot, and your friend's car gets stolen by the same guys who stole your cellphone.

Fellow Vanderbilt football players O'monte "Tae" Daley and Frank Coppet, both 18, accompanied Tennyson to Target. Police said the students brought a pellet pistol with them, "to help get the phone back."

Police said the gunmen fled in the Buick and in Daley's Toyota Corolla after the shooting.

Not too bright. Not sure why you don't set up the buy then inform the cops of where the buy is set up and let them handle it.

I heard about that shooting yesterday but didn't know at the time it was Vandy players.

could you imagine the things their fans would be saying along with the national media if this happened at UT right now? but since its their guys the 6 vandy fans on their site have somehow turned this story into "why the ncaa should be paying the kids something" lmao what?

Salee I typically don't mind but he was all in on us in 2015 and 2016.

I think he just scorned from being let down.

Can not wait for football season to be here. Looking forward to the big orange surprising a lot of folks this year. Tired of all the disrespect coming from opposing fan bases/columnists who think Tennessee will do good to win 6 or 7.
