Defense is tough for a mid 90s-present list. The first few are obvious but after that.....

Henderson, Haynesworth, Little, Shaun Ellis, Walker, and Harrell just on the DL.

So many LBs to pick from.

Trying to develop a list like this will inevitably leave someone out. There are so many greats to choose from. I do like the fact that it is a football discussion though. We are moving in the right direction. Volatil is right though, it depends on your age as to who you consider the greats.

Born 1980
Started following football in the mid-1990s

Offense -
Peyton Manning
Jamal Lewis
Marcus Nash
Travis Henry
Travis Stephens
Joey Kent
Peerless Price
Donte Stallworth
Casey Clausen
Tee Martin
(And I'm still leaving some out)

Defense
Al Wilson
Raynoch Thompson
Deon Grant
Dwayne Goodrich
Leonard Little
Terry Fair
John Henderson
Albert Haynesworth
Reggie White
Derek Barnett
(still plenty more to choose from too)

Your posts are like a black hole sucking all of the coffee out of the universe. Just a horrible, horrible reality to contemplate.

Case in point, you left off one of the GOATs, Eric Friggin Berry.

reported and ban worthy IMO. If Freak is a coffee drinker, you may have posted your last.

Umm... God created coffee. Man created Dr. Pepper. You might be on the wrong side of this argument.

Coffee = :angel:
Dr. Pepper = :naughty:

Good article on VQ about Shoop and his Defense...

Agree- good article.

Martinez is gone. Problem #1 is solved. Coach Warren will improve the secondary.

Playing the correct LB's might help along with Kirkland being healthy.

Hoke will have the D-line in control of the LOS.

Rock solves many of the other related issues with a much improved S&C.

The team's going to surprise some people in the national media this season.

I've always disliked Lebron, but his dressing down that reporter last night for his stupid question kind of endeared him to me. I wish more coaches and players would hold these "journalists" accountable to ask questions that have at least a shred or intelligence.

Not a superstition at all. Just hate that Butch hops on the bandwagon and gets to be involved with it more than the average fan. Tired of seeing that loser.

With the way the mid-state has blown up with talented recruits I want Butch to be as close to it as possible. This Stanley Cup has been a huge event for TN sports overall, not just Nashville. Butch jumping on board was a smart move, IMO.

you're missing the delicious factor where coffee rates at a -7383 and Dr pepper is a 10 eleventy billion trillion on a scale of 0-10.

Yeah... I'm gonna go ahead and..... uh... disagree with you on that one. :)
