You hate Georgia like I hate Florida. Georgia will have a solid defense with great running game. They return a QB with serious talent. If he's beat out that means another 5 star beat him. Their only question is OL and while that's big if, it's less than any other team in east.

We can win east but we'll have to stay healthy. 10-2 is a dream season for us imo.

i just dont see it man. Its not about hating them but i live here and ive seen this same story about 15 times. I dont see how O Line is the least concern of any other team. Thats kind of a big piece to the puzzle. I agree with you though i think we can do it mainly bc its wide open. I just dont buy the UF or UGA hype.

Well he wouldn't be wrong

He would be wrong to write it in the first place, just like this article was wrong to consist primarily of quotes from an anonymous scout attacking an unheralded TE who has had an average career at Tennessee thus far. It's not like Wolf came here with Isaac Nauta-level accolades and was expected to be the next Jason Witten.

Unless, of course, the anonymous NFL scout is actually a Tennessee coach trying to motivate Wolf. But the overall tone of the article is too negative towards the Vols and the coaching staff for me to think that's actually the case.

Damn, it's gone all FF in here. See what happens when you have a closed practice. We need practice videos to digest and discuss.

Don't forget who is calling the plays for UGA. Chaney isn't exactly known for leaning on the run game and if they get behind in either of those games then you forget they even have tailbacks.

I think you could realistically say they are capable.of having a good running game.. but without knowing how that o line is gonna perform is an opinion.

Personally I hope Chubb and Micheal get po'ed from lack of touches during the season and pull a Hurd and quit. That would be awesome!!😀😀

I'm not sure why everyone thinks Georgia is so bad on here.

We do realize it took arguably the most fortunate play in program history to beat them last year with a true FR QB, right?

We were relatively healthy at that point, too.

Plus they return 17 starters

It will be interesting to see how Chubb is this year since he came back. Will he be back to his FR self or more like last year, especially if their OL struggles. I'm hoping for more like last years

If Jalen Hurd doesn't jog into the end zone we don't need the Hail Mary lol, they also needed their own 50+ yard TD with less than 20 seconds left.

We still had Sutton, DKjr, JRM, Sapp out.

But he did jog into the end zone, and we did need a Hail Mary.

It will be a very competitive game. Last few years have all been tight final scores. The last two minutes of the game last year were unreal. I don't recall seeing anything like it. Sack, fumble touchdown. Interception (that should have sealed the win). Long bomb from a poised true freshman (that should have won the game). Great game plan and athleticism from Berry fora good return. UNREAL PASS AND CATCH for the win.

Yea and it's not like they were dominating all game and we needed some miracle like you made it sound. We needed a Hail Mary, they needed a 50 yard td with 20 seconds left and Hurd jogging. Oh and 3 of our best players out😂

Not if Hurd hadn't been showboating on his way to the end zone. And if it wasn't for our cb quitting on the play just a minute before we still would have won.

They finished 8-5, lost to Vandy, Ga Tech, Ole Miss, Fl, and Ut. Squeaked by Ky, Missouri and like us played down to the talent of their cup cake games. Eason may be a gunslinger but that can be good or bad. I'm betting if that o line doesn't get better they are gonna be more bad than good. And they had talent on D last year but weren't spectacular and I don't think they will improve much this year.

Our injuries weren't in full force but were starting to be felt that game and we still beat them. If our D improves any at all this year I still don't see them beating us or Florida. And that's what they have to do in order to win the East.

If UGA doesn't Win East, Kirby will be on hot seat going into year 3. No excuses with that talent in this division. If richt was still there they would be a lock to win division. With smart and chaney who the hell knows what stupid **** they will do in crunch time

Hurd also probably is still a Vol. Swear that hit knocked him into a mentally challenged individual

But everything worked out in the end.. isn't it wonderful????😀😀😀😀

It's absolutely wonderful.

It's also easy to see why most are high on Georgia to win the East, or at the very least be in the discussion down the stretch.

I thought Florida was the darling this year? I feel things are slowly returning to their rightful place with UT, FL, and UGA being discussed as the top dogs and everyone else as also rans. Gonna be a fun year of football.

I'm torn about that Griffith article.

I hate seeing him write it, honestly. It's pretty damn harsh.

But at the same time, I don't think that scout is necessarily wrong about some of our players. Wolf has struggle with blocking. Some of our secondary guys have been really inconsistent with tackling and getting off blocks. Our DL got pushed around by App State last year.

Hopefully our coaches and players see this and use it as motivation. Hopefully Rock has toughened them up a bit through S&C and the new staff member have toughened up their play style. Toughness in football is a mentality more than anything.
