NCAA is investigating UT. News just hasn't been made public yet. They've interviewed several people already within the program. Apparently it is over Chris Spognardi (who we fired months ago) cooking the books and covering recruiting "expenses". Could be bad.

I come over here for good news dammit. I had to use the FF door and not the RF door. Let me walk back out.

Edit: right door, wrong news. This is why we can't have nice things.

You're the same dude that started the thread in the FF that Jack Jones quit the team....and then decided to come back.

Lol....I'll take your comments with a grain of salt please.

That's fair but was anything I said incorrect? Just passing along info I hear.

This is what Spognardi's lawyer said after he was fired:

"Chris is one of the top football operations guys in the country," Spognardi's lawyer Jeff Hagood said in an email to the News Sentinel on Tuesday night. "It is beyond bothersome to me that our business office at the University would have in place such an archaic system of 'cash only payments' on these out of town and bowl trips that practically guarantee problems for everybody. Better judgment should have been displayed here."

We do realize it took arguably the most fortunate play in program history to beat them last year with a true FR QB, right?

Nope .

Beating ND while coming back from y31-3 halftime score. ND's game winning FG was deflected by the rear-end of a Tennessee defender was the most fortunate play...

Dobbs throwing the pass on the money and JJ going up to get it was just well executed.

:hi:
