My kids may think I'm wrong and I may be from time to time. I'll never admit it and will continue headlong over the cliff to prove I'm right. To hell with the consequences. :rtfm:

Yep. My 13-year old grandson disagreed with me on something last week, then damned if he didn't google it to prove he was right. But even with it in black & white in front of me I looked for a way to still show I was partially right. He knew I was full of chit and I knew he knew I was full of chit but I still kept the pretense up.

Lol. My middle daughter is a sponge for facts and pulls out some whoppers that I am positive cannot be true. Then sure enough... google tries to tell me I'm wrong. Well damn that. I am not wrong and the internet can get bent.

The one that really through me was that killer whales are the world's largest dolphin. Well that is false. They are whales. It says so right in their name. Google seems to think that they are dolphins but I maintain that if they were, they would be called killer dolphins and not killer whales. I'll argue that one until their name is officially changed in all scientific books, articles, journals, and anything else of credible research regarding animals. :crazy:

We put an offer on a house in Murfreesboro today. The real estate market is crazy in this town!

It sure is. All over Middle Tennessee, really. In a lot of cases houses are getting offers the day they go on the market or within two days of being on the market. You have to be ready to pounce.

This one has been on the market 36 hours. I really like it. God's will be done though.

Congrats. Our market in Knoxville was crazy too. We were trying to shop without an agent, but all the houses we liked had offers before being listed or at least before we could get into see them. We didn't want to be rushed, so we waited to list ours until we found one. When we did and knew it was right, we put in a first day offer and fortunately got a first day offer on our house.

We have a contingent offer on our house in IN. It took forever at 13 days. Lol. We bought when the market was still down and will be blessed to make am enough to to put a substantial down payment on a house in TN. It feels wonderful to be moving home.
